Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose my course by looking at the increasing demand in the IT fields and industries. My curriculum trains us very well by conducting practicals in each subject. Also mini projects are a part of the curriculum which expose us to the real world challenges. There is only one field where in improvements are necessary that the college must conduct industrial visits. The college conducts unit test after every two months. And a semester exam at the end

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees at my institute starts at 200000 in first year and increases 5% every year. They provide scholarships for all students however the refund is totally dependent on the students category. There is also scholarship available for students belonging to the open category. Also, the fees mentioned above consist of library fees, ID card fees and tuition fees. For every semester, separate exam fees has to be paid which is around 5200/- Rs

Campus Life

5

There is an annual festival held in the month of March called Alkemy. This fest is a whole vibe, they invite celebrities and stand up comedians. The central library at our college provides a large collection of books including data structures and algorithms, database management, AI and machine learning, robotics, programming languages, operating systems, communication skills, GRE reference books and books for other aptitude tests, etc. every classroom consists of NEOD touchscreen smart boards, WiFi connections and power outlets for laptops and other devices. Along with academics, the institute maintains a balance by providing sports opportunities as well. The campus includes huge outdoor spaces specifically designed for sports like, basketball, badminton, football etc. and also a huge cricket court with a net. There are many student run clubs at the institute including ACM students chapter, Google developer student club, geeks for geeks and NSS.

Admission

I had applied for other colleges that include Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Terna college of Engineering and A C Patil college of engineering. I got accepted at A C Patil college of engineering, Navi Mumbai. But due to the low reputation of this college I did not accept it. I wasn't able to get to other colleges due to their high CET cutoff. I found my college on google and went through the reviews which were good. The admission process at my college is pretty straightforward. However they take original documents at the time of admission such as 12th std marksheet, 10 std marksheet and leaving certificate, etc. which they give back after the completion of course.

Faculty

5

There are highly qualified faculty members who have a really good experience in teaching. Mainly the faculty student relationship is very friendly. The teachers are very cooperative. Out of them my favourite faculty is our vice principal Dr. Kamal Mehta sir who is very professional and conducts MCQ based surprise tests which are very helpful. There are two semesters every year that is total eight semesters throughout the course. Each semester, there are two main unit tests and a Re UT. Also every subject carries three MCQ tests.

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
