Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think the course is relevant in every aspect. It included everything necessary for any competitive exams. They take presentations, make us do assignments, take us to study trips. The curriculum is doing very well in making us prepare for the real World. I think study trips should be increased and given utmost importance. There were 4 semesters in 2 years, so each semester in 6 months. The questions were relevant and important.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid near about 20,000 in the first year and another 18000 in the second year. Scholarship is not very common here, although I applied for a scholarship in NSP where I've been paid 25000 once another 25000 is remaining. Fees were same for every category.

Campus Life

4

I loved my University life. The environment there is so flaccid. Everyone minding their own business, busy with their lives. There were many annual functions such as Scientia(generally held in winter season), Auskriti(generally celebrated during mid-year), we celebrated Christmas, Bihu, Ugadi, basant utsav and many more. There were various books in the library, although they are getting old and we need some new collections. Every classroom has a smart board and every teacher uses them. Sports are very common there. There's a big playground, also there's a place for indoor games.

Admission

I only applied to this university. This is 1st of all a Central University, it had a good ranking position before. Secondly, this is the nearest University to my house. We appear for the CUET exam as the entrance exam for this university. There is a certain cut off mark, and you'll have to score more to get into the University. Experience was very good.

Faculty

5

The faculty student ratio is 10:1. Faculty there is very approachable and friendly. They don't make the students feel inferior or less. According to me, Prof. Anupam Das Talukdar(life science) and associate professor Shuvasish Choudhury (life science) are the two best professors. They teach very well. They are extremely honest with their job. They take care of the students and their needs. I think every teacher there had their own way of teaching. I like each of them. There's nobody I dislike. There are 4 semester exams and 12 internals and 4 assignments in each semester. I think 1 out of 52 students failed in the last semester. The course curriculum is extremely significant and relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers prepare students well for jobs at different companies and gives marks based on our understanding of the subject. But some of the teachers need to interact more with the students. The internal examination are not well timed and give little time for students to study.

Reviewed on May 15, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason behind choosing this course is my deep interest in research area as our department shows good result in research domain .The curriculum provides us some topics that are to be deeply understood like we are imagining those topics in 3-D way and that will helps us in future aspects. The thing that need to be changed in our curriculum is course pattern itself because it lacks familiarity with CSIR - NET syllabus. The exams are held in the month of June and December and the difficulty level of the exam is from moderate to hard
