What Students Say
Likes
- The college has amazing placement offers. One of the main reasons is because it is a women’s college and a lot of companies which are grade a want to match the gender equality in your companies.
- A lot of Fest, keep happening around the college and around the university. We learn a lot of things as well as have fun.
- The chemist department has nice staffs. They teach you beyond the Books, which is useful for people who are planning to do chartered accountancy, et cetera.
Dislikes
- The principal is not much interactive with the students. They are very selective.
- The number of washrooms for teacher and students were not proportionate, and sometimes students had to use teachers washroom as well
- I don’t think there is any other dislikes, but if I had to add, I could also add that it is not walkable distance from the Metro Station, though you can give ₹10 and come in rickshaw
Course Curriculum Overview
as far as the course is concerned. It gives every thing which is related to commerce and accountancy, and also we have the opportunity for choosing an elective subject. This elective subject could be anything but Commerce I chose economics, other subjects like psychology film, study, Deys, mathematics, English, physiology, sociology, geography, et cetera.
Internships Opportunities
I am not sure about the companies, but recently I've come across BlinkitEY and others. I was not completely active and internship related stuff because I was more into studying higher studies, so I did myself too much into internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that I was paying was 14,500 approximately. Apart from this, I had to pay examination fees for each semester. Also, the fees of my batch from other categories were also similar around 14,000 till 16,000, the college also had scholarships Merit basis. Apart from that. We also had a separate department who took care of scholarships which were government aided
Campus Life
The overall experience a very nice the student run government, which is like the student union ensures that there is participation from the entire student force and individual department have their own first apart from one phase, which is conducted by all the departments come together
Admission
I personally did not get any rejection from any colleges, but he chose Daulatram College because it was a completed under Delhi University and it was very prestigious to be under a central government funded University. but the cuts are really really really really really high. They expect hundred percentage as first cut-off. I got into my third cut-off.
Faculty
The Commerce faculties were amazing. They were more like a friend, and they even taught beyond the books which are very helpful for other competitive exams as well. as far as examination is concerned. It is conducted by the Delhi University and equation papers come from there. We have to write five questions and each questions would give us 15 marks each. This was the marking scheme. I don't think a lot of students fail to clear the exam because the course curriculum was very lenient enough and it was average as well. It was not very tough. The best faculties. I will tell is Soumya mam and Anubha, mam and Mansi mam, they all took subject, comparatively duffer like accountancy income tax yet they make sure that everything was done perfectly.
Night Life
I'm not sure about the night life because I have. I am not staying at the hostel which is inside the college campus. I am staying outside, but as far as I've heard inside the campus fine, and it is completely safe.
