Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am in the course BSc honours in mathematics. Just like other BSE course and my minor subjects are physics and botany the seed management and classroom of hours are well furnished and clean. In my opinion that's the best course.

Internships Opportunities

4

One time I take responsibility to organise a farewell party of fifth semester seniors. My friends and some other seniors helped me so much. That's the first day I realise that I came in the best college.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college have an excellent fee management. I take the course BSc honours in mathematics and their score free at around 3500 per semester. Other BSc honours courses like botany, zoology, and chemistry fees are correct or appropriate just because their lab fee.

Campus Life

5

My school campus not so big it's lightly small but the campus are well furnished and clean. Also there have two canteens and one online shop for centre that I like so much because they have the print out, and xerox machine and how ever I seen my college campus I will very happy to see my seniors and juniors bonding.

Admission

At first I choose the college because, I think it's the best college of this price free and course. In first round I took chance in another college but I like that college. The admission process of Raiganj surendranath Mahavidyalaya is at first you have to apply online after that you have given an physical verification date. After physical verification you will officially and student of Raiganj surendranath Mahavidyalaya.

Faculty

4

The professor of Raiganj surendranath Mahavidyalaya are quiet intelligent they guide properly that's a very good thing. But there are many students they failed in semester exam the exams are little hard. Every year 25% of students failed in semester exam. There are at least same amount of boys and girls ratio.

Night Life

5

One day I attend the college function and that day I see the college nightlife for first time and I love it just because the joyful student. That day I realised that how beautiful and joyful moment was that. I remember that our freshers will come party day.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
