Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course as a curiosity but I got fond of it. For real world it will give some lessons like preparation beforehand, anxiety and depression for character development which is very good for reality check. The teachers should be able to teach us not just teach themselves. Equipment should be useful, chemical that are not used are stored. They should keep a staff for that and not the students as the students have Little knowledge and little knowledge is dangerous than having no knowledge. Easy to pass hard to get good percentage.

Fees and Financial Aid

1 Semester - 810 Adding all those excluding tution because didnot attend tution it was 810 and if the fee was late we had to pay extra 50 rupees. ST /SC used to get seat easily where as we OBC B were not given so easily. Swami Vivekanand scholarship total amount 20 thousand.

Campus Life

3

I was not active student so I just found out at 4th sem that there are clubs . We had many seminar but most of the time we would not go as our classes used to be going on during seminar and teachers would not allow to go . We had a huge library but the imp books were not to be found in exams as the students used to hide the books . NCC takes part in every sports. The room has molds it needs cleaning otherwise the class is fine. The students can do whatever they want they give full freedom traning for the real world starts from college.

Admission

Government College are cheaper than private so I choose government college and we get scholarship. No I was not rejected.ST people will get seat faster than OBC . The person scoring good percentage is taken in . General having good percentage still won't be able to get as the seat are taken by ST OBC . The exams are not hard but also not too easy.

Faculty

3

The faculty is 50 -50 it's not that bad but it's also not that good . There is not best faculty just some above the standard. I did not understand the teachers way of teaching they are very much qualified teachers but they were unable to make us understand their way of teaching. Total 6 exam adding internal it's 12 -16 . Internal is easy but the odd sem exams are hard. We hardly get good marks for writing long answers . Easy to just pass hard to score good marks .

Night Life

3

We have gym , canteen., library. Library is open till 4-5 and gym are used by boys as girls don't go there they feel uncomfortable to go there it is filed with rust and mold , very unhygienic in my point of view. Hostel is big .looks good from outside neve went there. Famous spot was canteen and ground . As the sun light is good .

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
