- They really put a lot of emphasis on academics and the placement cell will assist you in your 4th year
- Lot of opportunities for students who love sports as the akgec sports team are really good
- Conducts many competitive functions related to different fields
Dislikes
- Very strict regarding attendance it is mandatory
- College hours always remain same beginning from 8:30
- No exposure in terms of fest . There is only study based programs
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects provides are good and are a little helpful from overall perspective more importance is given to academic rather than skills which you have to build on your own . Teaching methods could be improved .
Placement Experience
Placements are not that much good but not that bad even companies come such as tata HCl TCS and many more mass recruiters and Accenture and others even percentage of students who get placed is above 8
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for the entire course is approx 6.5 lakhs and year wise it is 1.5 lakhs .there are many scholarships that the college provide to those who falls under St SC and obcs or to those whose family income is less than 5 lakh per year
Campus Life
Campus life is good if you are looking for only placements but not if you are looking for fun because there are no fest and apart from that there is societies of college if you still wish to do some extracurricular activities
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good food is okay meals do not change there are not much facilities but it teach you to live in any circumstances. But it is not that bad of an experience. There is no ac and geyser
Admission
When I was looking for colleges at that time akgec was the top aktu college and it had a college placement of 1 cr so it was the best choice among all the college I was willing to go to so at that time it was the best choice
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio vary widely . There are approx 250 teachers and students are in some 50000 . There are many good faculty who really helped with their knowledge. There are exams almost every month but it's easy to pass them once you know how to do so
Interview Experience
Yes at the time of admission one written round was conducted that was based on maths and physics chemistry of class 11 and 12 after that two personal interview round were conducted by the proctor at the time of admission
Night Life
The college is build near Delhi meerut expressway so there is just road and there is less of nightlife here . There are some shops which often close till 12 . New hangout spots have been opened near college which are cheap
