A Must Have Experience at KIIT!

Since its inception, the focus of KIIT has been on student-centric governance system. Entire system and structure of KIIT have evolved around this focus. The students are highly satisfied and disciplined due to their student-friendly policies. Every staff of KIIT, from top to bottom, interacts with students and takes care of their concern in a most friendly manner.

I am studying Electronics and Telecommunication at KIIT, the course is very well defined and follows the pattern like any other IIIT. Coming to the Exam Structure, it is very well thought of. Equally distributed throughout the semester and even the assignments are not burdening since there is ample time for students to research and submit these.

KIIT has been reputed to be a college with 100% placement record. That's how thousands of students turn up here in hope of getting placed in some of the finest companies in the nation. There are proper internship camps organized by the training and placement cell, which help you choose internships that gel with your stream and can help one advance in placements.

From Freshers to Farewell, like any other college in the country, KIIT also celebrates all of the events and festivals with grandeur. Students particularly look out for KIIT-MUN, Ted Talks, Nights with Rafi and Kishore and last but definitely not the least KIIT-FEST!

One of the biggest hurdles of joining a Private University is the big amount of sum you have to pay off to the college be it the Tuition Fee or even the boarding charges. I joined the college in 2016, and according to the fee structure of that session, I had to pay about Rs. 1,50,000 as Tuition Fee.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. There are very few scholarships to avail at this college.

Life at KIIT is more than just lectures and study sessions. Students get plenty of excuses to take a well-earned break from books. Our packed calendar of events and activities means a new friend is never far away. At KIIT, students have a meaningful learning experience while enjoying all that university life has to offer. University is important, but it should also be a time to make friends and have great experiences outside the classroom.

Since I haven't reached a stage of becoming alumni I don't have much to share about the same. However, all of my seniors just can't stop themselves from coming back.

When I was looking forward to engineering colleges after 12th, I filled up various forms amongst which was a free form by KIIT. Like I appeared for VIT and SRM, it was quite the same. I had no idea about KIIT before I finally got admitted and that is what made my experience much better.

Well, it is a mixed bag. Some of the faculty teaching B.Tech are very well aquatinted with the course curriculum but then there are others who come and just dictate the syllabus. At these times the curriculum somehow gets a little tough if the teacher nags you with it.
