Course Curriculum Overview

1

curriculum of this college is as old as time with numarous error in it. they dont provide us with any subject books but instead provide students with a booklet ,they call it "concept map" which has so many errors in it and hardly cover any topic properly. but almost all the faculty follow that as exam papers are prepared based on that . their syllabus is very outdated and is far from real time applications . they always claim to have advance course but end up having the same old one.

Internships Opportunities

3

internships are of great value here , our college has teamed up with some good companies that provide internship to students with surprisingly good stipend. some of the well known companies are garuda aviations, virtusa and disney.

Placement Experience

1

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Fees and Financial Aid

my annual fees is 3,68,750 for BE cse . during admission you pay 10,000 as caution fees (refundable) . fees structure change regularly here especially for demanding courses like cse and aiml. fees structure might range from 2 lakhs to 5.6 lakhs for these course( based on your 12th cutoff). fees structure of other departments like ece, eee, mechanical , biotechnology has comparetively same fees every year(ranging from 1 lakh to 3 lakhs). one sad part about this colllege is that there are too many hidden charges involved which the management wont discuss during admission process.students are then compelled to pay the fees out of panic

Campus Life

1

if i had to describe my college experience in one word it would be - " horrible".there are more negatives than positive aspects of this college.even the most optimistic person will give up on this college. there is one technical fest we have and that is simmam , there's nothing special about it . sports is given a very special priority here. sports dean has connection over all the sports related institutions .if you are into sports and an hosteller then this college can provide you with great oppurtunities to grow in it .there are some clubs here but thats just for show . students are so busy with their academics that they hardly get time for any extracurricular activity.

Admission

this was not even my last option, i had high hopes from srm university . i wrote their entrance exam many time but failed to secure the seat in the department of my interest.this literally shatttered me as all of my friends were in srm but destiny had some other plans i believe. getting admission is very easy here, just visit the admission office, fill up their admission form and pay the fees .thats it

Faculty

1

faculty to student ratio is 1:40 here . as mentioned before , exams here are conducted under god grace, they have a very peculiar curriculam here where students take up 2 to 4 courses for a semester then write exam for it under the time span of 1 to 3 months(depending on the course durations).dont know about other departments but in CSE , exams are moderately hard( sometimes purely unrelated to thr course) marking scheme is yet again a very funny thing here, dont rely on what you wrote , but pray to god that your papers are corrected by some good faculties the worst part is that you cant even look at your papers after results , making no room for re-evaluation

Interview Experience

1

There's no group discussion, interview or test conducted for admission. Getting admission here is the easiest. All you have to do is Come to the admission office, fill the admission form , submit it ,and the appointed spokesperson will talk about the fees structure with you. Mind you ,he will only discuss about the fees structure with you, there will be no talk about the classes, syllabus or general ambience of the college.

Night Life

1

this college has some of the most strict and strong security system.so bunking classes is bit difficult here.this college is located in such a isolated places that the only thing you see here are farms and chemberabakkam lake. we do have queensland nearby which is a good fun spots .in fact the nearest cinema hall from the college is about 12km from here (EVP)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
