Dislikes
- Our college is far from the north campus so it is difficult to engage in programs of the north campus of the DU. Students have to travel from metro to go to the main campus of the university.
- College canteen should be improved the food quality must be worth of the money and canteen area should be extended to reduce the gathering crowd in canteen.
- Classes must be on regular basis because everyday one or two classes dismissed because of no reason the college timing should be changed in winters because it is hard to reach at 8:30 am in winters for the students .
Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of commerce (Hons) is one of the famous and best course of delhi university so it was my first priority . Difficulty level of the exams are medium may be because i found the tests are not much hard nor easy for the students.
Internships Opportunities
We got a opportunity from a msme approved internship programs. A company named holograd ex interns association also provides us the opportunity to work with them as human resource management and marketing. These companies gives stipend upto 10000 on an average based on the performance level.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees for the b.com (hons) course is around 17500 and yearly fee amount is approx 35000 . The fees of my college increased a bit from last year. No scholarships or financial aid provided in my college.
Campus Life
When i took admission in maharaja agrasen college we celebrated the indo Georgian cultural exchange event , then i was confirmed that i didn't make any mistake taking admission in this college the college societies organizes many programs and events and we celebrate every function with joy. Our college has one of the largest and best auditorium among all du colleges. College has a massive ground to play football cricket volleyball and have a separate basketball and Badminton court . College provides gym and indoor games also.
Admission
I applied for shri aurobindo college of delhi university and i got admission on that but i applied for upgrade and got maharaja agrasen college as my 10th preference. Shri aurobindo was my twenty fifth preference. I chose maharaja agrasen over shri aurobindo because maharaja agrasen college is best in sports and infrastructure than the shri aurobindo college. The admission process of maharaja agrasen college is similar to other du colleges by giving an exam named CUET and filling the form of delhi university then the process of preference filling .
Faculty
Faculty to the student ratio is very well there is one teacher on around fifty students so it is easy for them to handle that number of students. Personally i don't like any of the Faculty and there is no any reason to hate them. Exams and test schedules are just like the schools tests of each and every subject held on proper given time.
Night Life
As i mentioned earlier our college provides gym to the students . Having a nice cafeteria. Library is amazing i found almost every book in the library . Library have a peaceful environment to study. There are some public parks and small restaurants for the students to hangout. There is only girl's hostel in our college so don't know much about that but it's anusl fees is 150000 per student and closing time is 8 pm . It means girls from the hostel can't hangout outside after 8pm but they can walk in college campus and ground .
