Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got influenced to choose this particularly course from this college is because of the dual specialization that it provides. I was inclined towards CSR and I got this as a subject in MIT WPU so this was the most important aspect for me. The entire course of full of activities and best guest sessions which helps us relate to the real world scenario. The frequency of exams are uniformly scheduled and there is enough time for preparation.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides various internship and placement opportunities to everyone. I am still in the first semester so I have not received any internship opportunity yet for my domain. But my colleagues have received if for finance from BNY Melon (stipend- 35k per month) and for HR from KPIT (stipend-20k per month with pre placement offers).

Placement Experience

5

The students become eligible for placements right after the semester 1 starts. The BNY Melon visited the campus during our initial days of semester 1 and selectd finance students for summer internships followed by KPIT. A large number of students who applied got selected. The highest package of last batch was 24LPA and on an average the package is 9-12 lpa as of now. The percentage of students getting placement is 89% now. My plans after the degree is tk get a campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee is 12 lakhs which is 6 lakhs per year which includes everything like the exam fees, tution fees registration fees and everything. 12 lakhs fees is for the MBA Dual program where you can opt for 2 specializations unlike other MBAs. If you opt for single specialization that usually people do, the fees for that course it 8 lakhs for 2 years which is 4 lakhs per anum. There are scholarships provided to students like 25%, 50% and also 100% which depends of the terms and conditions given by the university. To name some, students can get scholarship on their merits during past studies, entrance examinations, sports achievement and others.

Campus Life

5

The social life in MIT WPU is the best in the town. It is full of events and fun activities round the year. The annual fests to name some are CXO Meet, CMO Meet, Aarohan, Khande Navami, Alumni Homecoming and many more. The meeta happen on January of every year whereas the Alumni Homecoming in December and Aarohan in February. Other sports activities also go around all the time. The central library is a huge space to get lost into books. There are thousands of books on all the subjects. The classrooms are well furnished with e boards, AC, charging port on each table with proper and clean seatings for students. There are 100s of Student run social groups which involves all the students.

Admission

I went through many prospectus before taking admission here. But the specializations that I was looking for was only here and also the college was nearby to my locality. So I preferred this over anyone else. I did not get rejection from anywhere as I was eligible for admissions in other colleges like Symbiosis, NMIMS but in Pune m, MIT WPU was the most feasible for me. The admission process was also very good and easy here. I came in for the enquiry discussed about my requirements with the consultant, took the prospectus home and discussed it with my parents then I applied for admission online. The requirements for admission was 10th, 12th, graduation and an entrance exam certificate with non zero marks followed by a Group discussion and personal interview round.

Faculty

4

The faculties are brilliant and easy to approach. They never deny meeting students or to clear their questions. The exam is divided into semesters where each semester there are mid terms for 30 marks and end term for 40 marks. The rest 30 marks are for the internal assignments given during the classes. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate and not many students fail them but then it happens. The course curriculum is updated and with the market needs.

Interview Experience

5

The college admission process includes a group discussion and a personal interview round. When I was in the GD, the topic for us was related to the online education versus offline education. The personal interview was based on the response that were given during the GD followed by the past education and work experience. I prepared for these rounds by watching YouTube videos and reading about them

Night Life

5

The favourite hangout spot for me and my friends near college is the lane just outside the main gate which serves you everything you need. Be it stationery, medicines, grocery, lunch, beverages, food or dessert you get it all. There are gyms and cafeteria nearby campus. The college hostel in time is 8 pm and it varies from each other. The locality is safe to roam around at night as it is a residential area.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
