Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is quite adjustable in nature. Since I had selected the commerce stream in the 11-12th standard in school that's why opted for bcom (h) in the graduation but the students of non-commerce background can also opt for this course as it is not very difficult to understand it.
Internships Opportunities
The internships opportunities are provided to the students after the first year. As I completed my graduation course at the time of covid so I have done online internship at that time but now offline internship opportunities are back and are great way to enhance student's knowledge and practicality.
Placement Experience
One of the best point to be noted about this college is that it offers on campus placement opportunities to its students in the year end of the courses. The famous big four companies also come to the college to recruit students for their companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course of bachelor in commerce (honours) is a three years course and the fees for the course is paid annually for the three years accordingly. The first year fees was around 28000-30000. The fees for 2nd and 3rd year decreased to 21000-22000 which is a plus point in the fee structure. I found the fee structure to be quite affordable.
Campus Life
The library provided by the college is well maintained and has 2 floors so that a good number of students can be accommodated at a time and the atmosphere is good and quite as it should be. The classrooms are also big and spacious so that there's no congestion feeling while studying. The club's of the college are also good and students actively participate in it according to their interests.
Admission
I applied to Janki Devi college also before this college and also confirmed addmission in it but later on I joined this college because through some research from the internet I got to know that this college is better in many sense like it provides a better placement opportunities and internship opportunities also and the has quite a good faculty and infrastructure.
Faculty
The faculty is very good and very supportive in all sense. The teachers are almost always available to the student's queries. There are 6 subjects in the 3rd and 4th semesters and 5 subjects in the rest of the semesters which help the students toh grasp more knowledge of the course and does not cause burden on the students. There are practical subjects also for which there are lab periods also.
Night Life
The hostels are inside the college campus and are well regulated by the wardens and since it is a girls college so the security of girls students are taken care with utmost sincerity. The mess provides good and clean food at the set timings and moreover there is canteen where students can go in groups to enjoy their time.
