Course Curriculum Overview
The 10 acre lush green campus and the hostel facilities and the residentil area around made it no living in home and that's why i really decided to continue with bcom hons programme. Everything is great here, the course, the curriculum, the faculty, the environment. one will not regret taking admission here
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of all the categories is the same and it costs 12500-14000 per year It has to be paid on yearly basis. Apart from this, there are the examination fees as well that are to be paid semester wise.
Campus Life
There are N number of events happening in the college. and there are different societies like: Nataraj( Dance society) Commerce society, Samyantar( stage play society), Meraki( english theatre society), Srijan( art and craft society),Qissa( filmmaking society), abhinay(street play society), North east society, Chakraview( the debating society), Markos(the marketing society) and they reallly helps in shaping the overall personality of a student.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel has its pros and cons, where there is limitation for going out at night. there are numerous pros of living in hostel. You dont have to worry about the food. There is mess and food is taken care of Didi's in hostel cleans your room once a day Meal was good and if we had faced any problem, the mess committee used to take care of the problem with generous solution
Admission
During my time, there used to be different cutoff rounds as per your marks scored in 12th standard. and i had admission offers from other colleges as well like PGDAV (morning) , SBSC(morning), MLNC(morning) , but the environment here reallly got me. thats why i continued with the program in MAHARAJA AGRASEN COLLEGE only.
Faculty
The faculty varies with each department, i would say. And the ratio will be 10:1. For every 10 students, there is a teacher. I really had the best experience with my bachelors, i can name some of the faculty who were always there to support and help. Mrs. Deepa sharma ma'am, Mr. Arun Jhulka sir, Miss Kanishka Gupta and there are alot more. There are different examinations based on the subject you choose in your electives and exams are held semester wise. The course curriculum is designed comprehensively for every programme. And it's very rare for a person to fail, because you learn everything in the classroom.
Night Life
Being a hostel student, we had to enter back into the hostel by 8pm normally. for the late night leaves, it was 9pm at max. And we generally used to take it to go to thursday market nearby. And being a residential area, the locality is super safe for everyone. But hostellers has limitations to go out at night. We used to enjoy with our friends in hostel during night time.
