Course Curriculum Overview

5

The PTU curriculam is not so good but it is enough to teach a student about the technical things, And it's all upto a student how he/she grab the things if you want to learn eagerly then you have go over the web. There should be new subject introduced which has to be the upgraded version of some subjects which needed to get change and teacher should have to deliver the lecture smartly by vizulizaton through the Projectors. There is no difficulty to deal with the exams, those are quite easy, you just have to pay attention in the class about the lectures.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportunities are provided by the companies itself not by the colleges they can just provide us the link for which companies are providing the internships

Placement Experience

4

Placement were quite good till 2022, but after recession periods it's still disturbed. But still it is good enough. From 6th sem they are eligible for the campus placement. There is not any company which has visited and made no offers. Highest package is 44.4 LPA and average is 6-7 LPA. From last 2 years Placement rate is too low because of internation affairs affecting the IT industry and about 50% students get placed. After degree I will seek Job in IT industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here's the fee structure, it will remain same thorughout the batch there will not bw any changes while you are pursuing your degree. Fee structure you will get at the time of admission. It can vary batch to batch like in 2022 the fee increased to 65000 per sem and in 2021 it was 45000 and in 2024 it is 70000 above. n.

Campus Life

4

There are so many events like Aagaaz, youth fest, Festival events which happens timely, which is quite good for entertainment and overall experience is good in the college. Library has all the book to provide to students. As per technical aspects classrooms and labs are quite good and teachers are also good but not all. As per sports aspects prove youselves and you will get chance to represent youself and you college across nation.

Admission

This college is one of the best college amont the colleges in North India. It has good placement record. It has good Lab to deliver technical knowledge. This college provides opportunities to the student to push their limits by challenging events. I have visited so many colleges but this is best among the all and I never get rejected from any college. I chose which is best.

Faculty

3

There is a approximate ratio of 1:40, ensuring personalized attention. Faculty member are easily approachable and very supportive to everyone in the class. All the teachers are actually skilled in there domain. There a faculty sometime which have old way of delivering lectures which seems like sometimes boring. Exams are quite easy to deal espacially PTU exams there is not lot to prepare, So it will be easy to deal except Mathematics.

Night Life

5

If you're staying in Hosters then nightlife is quite good as well As for boys and girls also because they provide the limited time which is I think which is good enough for everyone and as per Gym Cafeteria libraries they are also good because all the hostels has all gym and there is a common food court where every kind of reach out and As for the library it will remain opens for 7:00 PM in the evening

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
