The complete course is of 2 years ( 4 semesters) . University is good for pursuing Msc courses. The practicals are conducted on regular basis. Staff members and the lab assistants are also very help full with lab. Lab work is regular for M.Sc students. The course in not much difficult . If you have done b.sc in your graduation. It would be easier for you to pursue this course.

Many companies like spark institute, global tech, natur's cosmetics an many other companies provided for the placement. The companies hier freshers for their placement's. Many companies from the different states prt placements.

The placement is also very good. I am not interested in placement because i want to continue my research . That's why i choose p.hd for higher studies . But my friends get very good placement offers in jammu and in other states as well. Mostly in pharmaceuticals and food industries

SMVDU Is a good option for students in research and higher study fields. Universities also provide hostel facility. University also provides for many courses like MBA, M.sc ( physics, biotechnology). The campus is very beautiful surrounded by trikuta hills from the north-west direction.For biotechnology students complete M.sc fee is about 1.5 to 2 lakh for the complete course. The degree is of 2 years (including 4 semesters) .Last semester includes dessertation work for students. University also provides scholarships for the topper 's from each class. Faculty members are very kind and generous to the students . Many function's and sports activities are organised by the university for students. It has a large maitrika audotorium . I am very satisfied from the university management .

Many festivals are hosted in the maitrika auditorium. The youth festival is one of the talent showing fest , held every year . The talent hunt is another fest for talented students to showcase their talent.

Every m.sc student is provided with a single room. Each room consist of a chair , cupboard, almirah, a bed and a study table. There are 2 power plugs for charging your essentials. Meal consists of beakfast, Lunch and dinner and evening tea and snacks. . There is. 2 special dinners in every month.

The environment of the univery is very beautiful and natural. University is surrounded by trikuta hills. The staff is very generous and helpful with students.And this university also provides for scholarships to the topper's.

The faculity members are very kind and supportive . The M.sc course is of 4 semester's( 2 years) . In. Every semester the exam is comducted twice( internal and external exam pattern) . Praticals are conducted on regular basis. University also provides ph.d for students.

Yes , the university also provides for the gym facility. There is a centra gym in the unive. And in every hostel there is a hostel gym for the students . Gym is also available for the girl student in their respective hostels.
