Remarks
The college has a good infrastructure but is not well maintained. All sports and cultural events are limited to our college only. No technical events are organised. The acedemics are also not of that standard which a technical institute should possess.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is nice ,but it includes only basics of each subject or topic.the topics are not explained to their advanced. We have to attempt a 150 marks exam for each subject.time duration 3 hours. 1question is compulsory. Then 8 questions of 8 marks out of which you have to attempt any 5.then comes 5questions of 15marks out of which you have to attempt any 4
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are only for textile branch.In textile branch the placement percentage is almost 100.As other branches are concerned their are no placements. College didn't provide any kind of internship.
College Events
Every year a sports event named Sangharsh is organised but no other colleges are involved only Students of our college can participate.Cultural event named gaitey is also organised every year.A get-together for alumni is also organised last year. No technical event is organised till date
Fee Structure And Facilities
One semester charges RS 31500 about 5200 (approx) per month.in my opinion a little expensive for students like me (son of a farmer).this includes development fees ,extra curricular activities fees and etc.The fees should be accordingly fixed like anyone who is not intended to take part in extra curricular activities then there should be no fees for him.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes ,our college offers scholarship or we can say the alumni offers scholarship. An amount of Rs25000is awarded to those students who are economically backward. The students are interviewed by the alumni and selected students are rewarded.
Campus Life
As I have said earlier a sports event named Sangharsh and a cultural event named gaitey are organised every year. All labs are updated.they have every machinery and softwares to accomplish the task.all labs have internet access also.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good not best.only thing that they do is the scholarship which I mentioned above. The seniors are a little bit helpful,like suggesting where to do training ,which subject has more importance.
Admission
Firstly a form named REAP is being filled with marks in 12 and JEE score and you have to choose from a no of colleges according to your preference.After this you receive a rank and on that basis you are awarded with opportunity of admission out of your selected colleges
Faculty
They have knowledge and as well experience but in my opinion they are unable to make us understand each topic clearly.they have no interest in students ,they just come ,teach and went back to their respective offices or staff rooms.
