There are only positive remarks and not the negative the college provides everything that a student needs to grow it has a wide campus area with cleanliness there is a it park in the college Placement cell

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good as the faculty decides which technology has to be tough at times and the exam structure is one of the most sorted As the exams takes place at the given time and in a strict condition no one could able to cheat in the exam

The placements are quite good as every year most of the students get placed in top companies with pretty good packege The college has its placement cell which provides the information about the placements

There is a major Event that takes place in the college and that is pledies it is a national level fest which lasts for 3 days every department in the college participates in it With their own event and

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive As I have paid nearly 300000 for my 3 years of course and there are some other additional expenses which you have to pay time by time. Still they give the quality service

There are some scholarships which college provides one of those is from Alumni which is for the poor students who can't afford to live in hostel there are some other scholarships for sc and st students

Campus Life

Sports activities are just too good as the college has its own gymkhana with everything in it there is ground to practice, The labs are good though with 24/7 internet facility there are some extra activities that takes place

Yes the alumni network is good As every year some of the alumni comes to guide the students on the future plans and trending worldwide technologies and the job apportunities they are truly helpfull as

Admission

I have given state entrance exam in which I got the expected rank then I have taken admission to this college You need each and every original mark sheets with you including 10, 12, graduation you have to give this in the office

Faculty

The faculty is very good as the college is one of the reputed college in the state They guides the students in a proper way so that after the end of the course, the students has to be placed in top mnc companies

Likes

The approachable faculty, friendly peers and the freedom to explore were one of the few things I really appreciated about our college
Our campus life is all about us, how much we decide to explore and how much we decide to keep things to ourself
The placement services and the support provided are really useful because I belong to mechanical branch and the placement rate of mechanical branch is quite high, so Obv I really appreciate the effort from the placement office.

Dislikes

The building is dusty sometimes, and also the building doesn't have a lift.
Coming to the campus amenities, drinking water is not available.
Because I belong to 29th batch, our batch are the batch to face the new syllabus, so we don't have any previous year question paper, model question paper, so accademic pressure is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is very relevant for real life problems, it has a lot to do with application level knowledge, so our syllabus is very efficient for all engineering students, it gives us optimum knowledge and the right amount of liberty for us to explore our own interests besides our accademics.

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

RVITM - Everything you need to know before joining!

Likes

The lab equipment is good. The chemistry lab is well equipped and the other labs have all the software needed for a specific subject.
The library is really nice. It offers pretty much all the books you'll ever need to gain extra knowledge of your course.
The faculty and the crowd are good. Cannot speak for other branches but in my branch faculty is decent and the crowd is amazing.

Dislikes

The campus is small. One football/cricket ground and a tennis/basketball pitch is all that is there in the college.
The fests are boring. I have attended 3 fests so far and although it has its positives they were boring for the most part.
The placement scene is not the best. Most students join for placements and the companies that come have reduced from the previous years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Likes

ISE department is clean and well maintained
Faculties in ISE department are very friendly in nature
The department activities that are held in the department

Dislikes

Sometimes very strict in rules coming to attendence
Bus facility at Saturday will be delayed due to many students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much,every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

This college loves innovation they have crated clubs for innovative students like aero kle ,kle media club, etc
The equality of college there is no difference done between boys and girls all are treated equally
The infrastructure of the college we can easily this college has best infrastructure in whole North Karnataka

Dislikes

There are some inexperienced teachers in some of courses like bca , bba ,bcom they teach well but they lack experienc
More importantance is given to B.E students if compared to others
The bca lab computers are outdated but they are upgrading them slowly

Placement Experience:

Bca course in our college has started from 2021 and the course is of 3 years so there are no records of placements But I is a known college it will bring best companies for placement but has record placement of 100 %since 3 years in its CSE department

Not worth my life

Probably nothing.. the only thing I enjoyyy is while traveling to clg and returning.

Dislikes

Very strict towards attendance... That too it's not 75% it's 85% !!!!
Few lectures are very boring and not at all useful
Labs are not at all useful ... More broken computer than working computers!

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !

The college facilities and the sports complex are very well equipped for the stude
The infrastructure of the college is very large and very much needed for the students

The faculties are very much pressuring to the students
The climate here in mangalore is very bad
The hostel for boys does not allow you to go out after 10pm

We have not yet got placement interviews because we're in 3rd year. In the final year of the course they provide with placements for all the smart and intelligent students with high theory and practical knowledge

Other than my college I applied for PC jabin I didn't got admission there because of seat full problem Also the reason is I went late for admission I choose my college over other college because of its technology environment admission process of my college for BCA course is management no CET and comedk will make any difference the fee maybe reduced if you had good grades in your PUC you should have more than 70% marks in PUC form easy admission if less you may be charged more the fee is taken in two installments...Read More
