Likes
- The college is very nice overall. The boys and girls lodging campus are seperate. The educational environment is very well. The faculties are very experienced and provide the knowledge in democratic way. The course can develop the students lives.
- The hostel facility is available there in the college campus. The students can get benifits from all corners
- The students can take admission in any stream like science, commerce and arts. The best thing is that every teachers present themselves as father's to the students.
Dislikes
- Some extra activities done by the students like ragging or other things are not desirable.
- Some students engage themselves in drinking or other bad things but we should be with good students to make them fellow.
- Overall the college is good if we live there well.
Course Curriculum Overview
I like to read literature so I selected to read English literature because it gives a lot of joys . The curriculum extremely impact in my daily life activities like it taught us how to communicate with people, it helps us to understand others emotions etc. everything is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid twenty thousand fees yearly and paid sixty thousand rupees over three years. But according to my percentage of class 12 I got ishan Uday scholarship in amount of 54000 per year. The fees are very effortable in gauhati university. Everyone students can easily pay and aquire the knowledge
Campus Life
I impressed very much when I participated in Debate compitition that was held in our cultural function program. Every year atleast three to four festival held in our university. Every student can read any books from its library. Every year sports days also held in our university. The students get great rewards by participating in the games. The election also held in our university. The students from Indian National Congress, BJP and other parties take and win the election.
Admission
My childhood dream was to read in Gauhati University so after HS exam I passed the entrance and took addmission there. Because Gauhati University is better than other universities in Assam, Moreover under Gauhati University many colleges are assigned. So I thought myself very lucky to get addmission there.
Faculty
The ratio of faculties to students is 1:100.the relationship between students and teacher is very good they treat the students as their own child. every teachers are good but I like some teachers very much as Mr Saikia sir who taught us Indian Literature because his teaching style and his explaining method is very good. I like every faculties there . There two final exams in a year because it's a semister system.
Night Life
The students can get the facilities of gyme in the college campus. The students can read any book from our college library it opens at 10 am and close at 3.30 pm. The hostel campus close at 10 pm at night and no other people are allowed to get in hostel at night. There so many places around our university where the students go for walk like Guwahati Zoo , Science Museum etc
