Course Curriculum Overview
There are some subjects like enginnering drawing , mechanical workshop in first semester which i find irrelevant atleast for a CSE student ( but i think these kind of subjects are somewhere in college ) There is a small course of life lesson at the start of semester which i find good , they try to show you your real side by taking some personality test and give suggestion to improve.
Internships Opportunities
There are some internship opportunity ofcourse but its not upto the mark. For this college , Majorly offcampus placements and internships are prefered. Dependency on college may ruin your life. Better prepare for gate or see for offcampus campus
Placement Experience
Campus placement is not too good . There are limited recruitments . Some companies like TCS , COGNIZANT comes to our college . Over a few year it has declined more Average package : 4LPA HIghest package : 12 LPA ( as per my knowledge) This college i guss is more suitable for gate preparation rather than placements

Campus Life
Since college life is too small campus lfe is not good . but there are many events going on every alternate week , there are hackathons , intercollege competition etc In sports there is Archery , cricket , etc;
Admission
Hit is a good college in west bengal if compare it to other ( comparison is not ofcourse with JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY) . I was getting some core subjects in other college like DTU but my cs interest took me here. My descision is not very right i guess . I realized it after coming to this college as some of the median packages reported online in many websites was not very right .
Faculty
IN OUR COLLEGE MOST FACULTY UNDERSTANDS STUDENTS EMOTION . THEY ARE HELPFUL BASICALLY THERE ARE 70 STUDENTS (APPROX) IN A SECTION WHICH IS FURTHER DIVIDED INTO GROUPS CONSISTING 35 STUDENTS EACH. GROUPS ARE DIVIDED ONLY FOR LAB PURPOSE AND THEORY LECTURES ARE TAKEN COMBINED ONLY FOR LAB, TEACHER : STUDENT RATIO = 2: 35 SEMESTER EXAM = 40 MARKS *INTERNAL MARKS = 60 MARKS *includes suprise test , assignments , class performance etc;
Interview Experience
NO , There was not any group discussion , interview , written test and all of that for the admission purpose. I got this college through Wbjee rank (west bengal joint entrance examination).There is a wbjee exam every year which you can give and there are different colleges you can get through it one of them was HITK.
Night Life
NIghtlife around our college is not good , Its feel scary to roam around . Canteen: upto 5pm evening There is a well maintained library which is good to study and there are many books to go through.
