Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate the course circulum 2.25 out of 5 stars. The programming subjects offered in this course influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares me for real world applications really very nicely and for further academic pursuits. There should be one to one feedback taken for the course and students should be able to choose the courses by themselves. The timings of exam is ok but the frequency is very bad as there will be no gap between the exams and it would be hectic to handle the subjects

Placement Experience

2

From 7th semester the students become eligible for the placements. The companies visited are EY GDS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini,CGI ,Microland,CEI,IBM .The average package is 3lpa and highest package is 10 lpa.The percentage of students getting placed is 35%.My plan is working in IT company

Fees and Financial Aid

For KCET seat my batch fee was: Tuition fee is Rs.90293 skill lab fee is Rs.15000 Total is Rs.105293 per year Management Fee for CSE Branch for my batch would be ranging around 3-3.5 lakhs per year There is student loan from third party

Campus Life

2

The annual festival name Invincia commonly held in April of every year. The range and accessibility of books is very organized and librarian is very cooperative everything is digitalized. The facilities is pretty decent

Admission

The reason I chose this college over other colleges due to the feedback from previous batches students. Other colleges have a better teaching and the teachers are very cooperative and placements is also very good. Compared to other colleges our college give more holidays. In other colleges Exams conducted is very systematic compared to our college.I did not get other due to my Kcet ranking as i have no reservation Iam from a general category. The admission process in our college you can contact the college through the website or come to college and talk. After discussing the course and fee structure required documents to be submitted and admission is completed This is for management seats. I applied to RV college,BMSIT , MS Ramaiah,Reva University.I got a confirmed admission kcet seat in Reva college but i did not get the required course so i joined Presidency College. No i did not get any rejection from colleges I applied The Exams accepted is Kcet,PGCET,Comed-K,GMAT The cutoff for this can be checked in the official college website.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio 1:5 .The Faculty to student relationship is pretty decent some faculties are too good some faculties even don't know basics of the course but they are alloted to us.I liked the faculty named Sachin Sir who was teaching me course called Theory of Computation in my 4th semester he was very friendly and used to teach very well and keep the class engaging. The faculty named Jacob i did not like him because he was not punctual to the class and he don't know anything about the subject .He only used to teach to the girls. He was only giving good marks to the girls. He had a soft corner towards the girls. There are only two exams per semester for Engineering that is mid term after 2 modules are completed and End term Exam is conducted at the end of the semester. The Exam difficulty level are pretty decent . If 1000 students write the exam atleast 50-60 students fails to clear the exam .The course curriculum is relevant but they are alloted in the 1st or 2nd year if the course is generally alloted seniors 3rd or 4th years.

Night Life

3

The cafeteria is very vast and has a good sitting capacity it can accomodate upto 1000 students. My favourite hangout spot is gallery near the fountain which is the center of attraction of the University.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

I did not get due to no reservation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
