College Standard

We are surely not the best but yeah not the worst. College lag in infrastructure and yeah surely a play ground. We need a better infrastructure and yeah while talking of libraries it is good. We can take like 10 books at a time and surely that's great. College get a rating of B+ by NAAC this year.

Course Curriculum isn't that tough and it's like of all other colleges around. Course Curriculum are kind of different from IITs and are easy when compared to IITS.Like there are 2 internal exams so called unit test and at the end we have practical and theory papers. Well every theory and practical exams are separated and given individual score with credits.

Placement and job opportunities are good but in few of branches which covers mainly of 3-4 branches, One is CSE and others are IT, ECE and somewhere EE too. But when talking of core branches we totally lag behind. No placement are there in core branches but while talking of tech branches there is around 80-85 percent placement. No my college don't provide internship.

There are always events going on college mainly there 2 tech fest one is AVAHAN and other is AVENIR while talking of cultural fest that is mesmerizer and there are along with many events like hult prize and many of them are going. Some are way too good but lagging in case of fundings.

Fee structure is kind of feasible. Like for my ongoing semester I had to pay around 72 thousands in total for 1st semester and then it was around 45 thousand per semester overall including exam fees for each semester.

There is scholarship program run by West Bengal government but surely not by college. There is lack of scholarship program by merit not by caste. Loan facility is totally lagging. There isn't any such kinda facility.

Labs are way too good for tech branches but surely lagging in case of core branches as I come to know that from my friend. Sports are going on but surely again we lag in terms of ground available for playing. They are surely lagging and yeah we need skilled teachers in sports. Lab teachers are lagging too.

My college don't provide hostels. So we can't say what we are supposed to say about the infrastructure and all but yeah there is ongoing construction to have hostel as every college around is having one.

I got a chance to meet few alumni. But can't say surely they were helpful. We need more interaction with them but they were surely not that kind of friendly to shake hands. While talking of seniors they are surely helpful from Starting of college. They help in learning and even the most important part projects. They are true gem. We are Lucky that they are our seniors.

I got into this college by giving a joint entrance test conducted by West Bengal so called Wbjee. Well after my ranks got out, I got to pay a amount of 500 for counseling process and thereafter I had to fill the choices for the respective colleges with branch. After the 1st round of counseling I was supposed to submit a fees of 20,000 and verify the document for the further and I waited for 3rd round of counseling to get the respective college and thereafter in that college I submitted a demand draft and got the document verified again. That was whole process and at the end an identity card was given and given the dates.

Faculties aren't too good or too bad. Like for some of my ongoing subjects some of my faculties are way too good while others lag behind. While taking of laboratories we are lagging behind, need of more skilled and trained teachers who are always there to help. We need teacher who provoke other than theory and lab papers. Creativity and innovation is lagging for sure.
