The course curriculum at ncu is well structured and covers both core concepts and emerging topics offering a good balance of theory and practical exposure.It includes interships and projects and electives like AI,machine learning and more Exams are conducted twice a semester for mid term and end term the marking system is holistic ensuring fair evaluation.overall the curriculum is relevant
Internships Opportunities
Northcap University offers internships with top companies ike TCS, Infoysys , Deloitte and more. Roles include software development, marketing and bussiness analysis with stipends ranging from 10,000-15,000. Interns work o projects like web development and market research, gaining practical experience.
Placement Experience
At Northcap University students become eligible for placementx in the 7th semester.Over 200 companies like deloitte, TCS, Maruty visit annually. The highest overall package offered is Rs.13.2LPA with an average of Rs.6.1 LPA. Placement rates are impressive. Post degree I plan to utilize NCU's strong placement network to secure a role in my field while pursuing certifications to enhance my skills and career growth.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 3.09 lac per annum and increase per year with 3-5% and My tuition fees is 3.09 lacs and there is caution fees which is 10000 which is refundable at the time of graduation and many other like registration fees which is 5000 and many more expenses like development fees maintainancs fees for no reason My batch mates are also paying the same fees i m paying per year And there are many scholarships like merit scholarships which is on the basis of class 12 scores and the college scholarships which is on the basis of academic achievement in the year and having cgpa more than 9.5
Campus Life
Campus life at The Northcap University is vibrant and enaging. Annual fests like Momentum and technical fests like Innovision are held in February and March,fostering creativity and fun. The library offers extensive books, e-journals and research material. Classrooms are equipped with smart tech and modern facilities. Sports like cricket, basketball and football alongside clubs like robotics , photography and cultural societies enrich students life encouraging teamwork and personal growth through diverse opportunities.
Admission
When I was deciding on colleges, I applied for manipal university, amity university and shiv nadar among others. I was fortunate to secure admissions from manipal and amity but ultimately decided on The Northcap University. What set Northcap apart was its strong academic focus, especially in my chosen field, and its location in gurugram- a thriving hub for internships, industry exposure and career opportunities.The university's consistent placement record , state of the art infrastructure and holistic approach to education made it the ideal choice. While the other colleges had their strengths, Northcap stood out of aligning perfectly with my academic and proffesional aspirants. I did face rejections from a couple of institutions, mainly due to high competition and limited seats. Some colleges had slightly higher cutoffs than my entrance exam scores and in other cases, I could have prepared better for their selection processes. These experiences were humbling and taught me the importance of resilience and strategic preparation. Looking back, these challenges helped me appreciate the opportunity I had at the university even more. The admission process was smooth and transparent .For undergraduate programs , a 50%-60% score in 12th grade is required, along with exams like JEE mains or CUET. The process involved online application , document submission and counselling sessions. These sessions were insightful, helping me explore program options and career paths. The supportive staff and structured approach made the experience seamless.
Faculty
According to the sources there is 24-26 students for every full time faculty member at ncu Most faculty members maintain a professional yet friendly relationship with the students for a positive learning environment but some of my faculty is very demotivating which I dislike the most There are 2 exam which are mid-term(minor) and end-term(major) which are very important to get pass in both the exam for good grades but the syllabus is too much and there is no gap in minors between the exams to study
Night Life
Northcap University offers a relaxed nightlife with cafes and gym closing by 9PM while the library operates till 8PM. Hostel in-timings are 9.30 PM for girls. Nearby hangouts include Cyber Hub, MG Road and sector 23 offering food and entertainment.The locality is safe for late outings with ample security and options for unwinding with friends.
