Course Curriculum Overview

3

1) I specifically chose this College as Chemical Engineer dept is one of the longest running dept in the College with decent staffs. The curriculum can easily make you fall in love with the discipline of the course. 2) The curriculum is tailored to bring enthusiasm and confidence towards the subject. It helps you to develop your logical reasoning and imagination to solve real life problems. 3) The dept can make use of staffs who can continuously converse in english. Make use of digital and more practical classes. Periodic training sessions with resource personals and by giving mini projects frequently. 4) Exam time is not perfect as they avail us only 1/2 the time required to learn the concepts. They can improve this by changing time of events in College rather changing time of exams.

Placement Experience

3

1) Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year onwards 2) The College offers unique placement training programs as students are trained from year 1 onwards on qualitative aptitude and logical reasoning. 3) Core companies offer from 2.5 LPA to 10 LPA 4) Circuit branchs offer from 3LPA to 12 LPA 5) The College boasts pf about 85% placement rate. And specifically in my dept. placement rate is 100% 6) I wish to work for 2 years and then pursue masters in the same field

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee: 1) Tution fee: 55000 2) College fee : 35000 3) Regd fee : 5000( counts as placement fee to be paid every year) 4)No due: around 3000 5)Exam fee: 350 per paper( Theory + Practical) 6) Association fund: 1000 7) Miscellaneous fee : around 1000 Scholarships 1) PMSS : Full wave off for Tution,College and hostel fees only 2) 7.5 : Same as PMSS

Campus Life

2

The overall Campus life is very average 1) The College doesn't promote cultural activities but Symposium, sports day, annual day are held at a stretch usually during the start of odd semesters. 2) The College library has a good infrastructure with access to a huge variety of books, journals and thesis. 3) Smart boards are being currently installed in all classrooms. Each department has a smart Tv installed amd readily accessible. 4) All sorts of sports( regional) and extracurricular activities are promoted by the College

Hostel Facilities

2

1) The hostel rooms are pretty nasty or liveable. The washrooms available are the worst. 2) The meal offered at the hostel is the worst meal possible ever with loads of insects. 3) The registration to hostel is pretty much easy and is done at the time of registration to College. The hostel is affordable at a fee of 30000 per year and new hostel costs around 50000 per year. Mess fee is around 35000 to 55000 but the meals offered is of the lowest quality. 4) There are several rooms available around the College with nominal pay and a PG for girls alone is available.

Admission

1)I actually didn't apply for any other College other than this college as at the time of admission, i didn't posses my Transfer Certificate which was much required for applying to counselling. I joined the college using management seats. They asked me to fill a registration form charging 500. Then i had to pay 5000 as admission fee which was used as the fee for placement for that year. The eligibility for joining is to have completed class 12 with a decent cutoff and none other. I was asked to pay 35000 per year as mess fee and was not charged any money as i came under PMSS scholarships. All other fees mentioned were to be paid by me.

Faculty

3

1) Faculties are highly qualified and they meet the requirements to teach in a college. They are very friendly most of the time and are easily approachable. There are enough facilities available in every dept. But sometimes faculties can be very rude, taking advantage of their positions. 2) Mrs. Bargavi. Asst. Professor - Dept. Of Mathematics: She was my first class advisor and she teaches in a totally unique way and is always open to doubts 3) Mr. Sasikumar, AP: A person who boasts about his skills when he himself has to develop skills 4) There are around 6 - 7 theory and 3 -4 practicals per sem. The curriculum is as same as the curriculum followed by Anna University. The exams are pretty moderate but still 1/4th students fail to clear it

Interview Experience

4

I haven't attended any interviews up until now but as per the experiences of the seniors. They are 4 rounds held. Round 1 is common aptitude followed by Technical round followed by group discussions and finally HR

Night Life

3

1) Gym was newly constructed and was equipped with new equipments. 2) The cafeteria available is of a good quality. New continental food stalls have been constructed. 3) Morning exit time at hostel is 9 AM and curfew is 8:30 PM. With classes starting at 9:30 and ending at 4:30 4) There ain't no famous hangout spots nearby. But a theatre is available at a distance of 6 kms. Malls and other facilities are available only at ERODE. It's typically safe to roam around at night. But hostellers you ain't got permission

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
