Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is quite compact i would say and vast in its words . There is a good balance between practical classes and theory classes which allow us to learn and practice for future application. The curriculums time is quite perfect i would say and give a good balance to teaching the course. The internal exams are in every 3 months and after that final exam is also there. And i would say that the final exam should get delayed a bit further or else every thing is good.

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a 1 year compulsory internship for the students who join the course and there is a stipend of 35000 . Through 1 year the students practice in the departments to acquire skills and knowledge. After that they are given jobs by the government under various rural hospitals.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to give an yearly fees which include exam fees, tution fees, hostel fees, student union and common room fees, and magazine fees. Exam fees is 4000 and hostel fees is 6000 . And including all the fees we need to pay a total of around 18000 to 19000 yearly. We need to buy logbooks for each subjects and so which costs differently each year. All the students have to pay the same amount. No scholarship are provided from college itself but student can avail scholarship provided from government of india.

Campus Life

3

We have 4 big fests and other minor fest are also there. Big fest are Culture week, JDA, saraswati puja, shankardev thiti. Among the minor which is celebrated in hostels are new year, diwali, holi, sometimes bihu.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is government facility and is not so great as the buildings are too old and the room are too small for 2 people. Hostel mess is private and is affordable on a price of 2400 per month. I have not rented any pg or room but i have friends who live in pgs and rented rooms and are at a decent price.

Admission

I chose this college as it is close to my home and have my native language. Compared to other college i would say that this college is average. I couldn't get into other college i like as my mark was a bit less than cutoff. To get into any medical college one need to give NEET-UG exam and then can get admission based on their score.

Faculty

4

Faculty is quite good and the ratio is good except some subjects like biochemistry. Although most of the teachers are helping and have a good attitude towards students but some teachers are too strict towards curriculum and takes away the fun of teaching. I will not give names but some teachers are so strict that he will not allow to enter the class if anyone is late for 2-3 minutes. There are 3 exams in each year except in 3rd year there is 2 exams. And all the years have a final exam. The exams are quite tough as to pass we neet to score 50% marks in subjects. The course is totally relevant to curriculum. In 125 student sometimes 15-20 student fail the exams.

Night Life

3

Night out life isn't so great as the timing for girls hostel is 7 pm and for boys its 10 pm. The library remain open till 10 pm. There is no public area inside the campus to hangout and also no cafeteria dedicated for students. But it is quite safe to roam around at night upto 10 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not at all easy like all the other courses but since this course deals with life and death situations I would say the practical applications introduction has lead to a better side of this course. This course is completedly real world based curriculum. The faculty members are well equipped to everything they teach and the methods currently focus on application based studies. This course has many exams each month and therefore the student has to study properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a doctor so that I could cure people and help them to get rid of various diseases. The faculty: student ratio is approx 1:4 The faculty are highly qualified with MBBS, MD, MS, DM, March, and various other degrees done by them. The teaching process includes lectures in the classroom with the help of smart slides. Almost every month there are exams but there are internals every 3 months and finally the finals. Medical study is one of the toughest courses to pass as we need to know about a lot of different things all at once
