Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our clg take 1000-1500 as fees per year but then they also take fees inbetween semester like hallticket fees and other types of unnecessary fees and moreover They don't even provide much scholarship they take 250 Ruppes for applying for scholarship even if I have all of the documents scholarship for OBC is only 1500 rs and we have to apply for it every year but didn't get it

Campus Life

We get annual function once a year but it's dull moreover we don't have any type of clubs or student portal campus honestly talking about campus so there's no campus we just have dull ground where boys play's cricket

Chill and kill boredom at Somaiya Clg

Likes

The campus,,, Somaiya has best college campus with lot of activities area in it
The Sittings accross the campus is really student friendly
Canteens were supper affordable for students for food accessibility

Dislikes

The cordination given by management of college, They were so rude all the time idk y

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature gave me insights to the history and a different pov on the situations happened Literature sharpens the thought process we can have in real world scenarios which are quite unique tbh. Its just too much of theory, if could update it and make it somehow relavent to today situation, it would be fun learning it

SPC from a TYBA students POV

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

Remarks:

For a person who into music production this is the best course and College but any other music field consider other options. The administration is too poor and are harsh on the students but the teaching faculty is supportive.

Remarks:

The college management has appointed a student council who look after all the needs of the students and is responsible and accountable to manage and follow up different activities, events and functions throughout the year. They are the main link between all the societies working in the college and team members of these societies.

Priyadarshani engineering College

The "JEE" Complexity: JEE Advanced requires a depth of problem-solving that favors those with long-term coaching. Many students are conceptually strong but struggle with the "trick" questions of JEE. BITSAT Speed Trap: BITSAT is a race. One can lose a seat not because they don't know the subject, but because they couldn't solve 130 questions in 180 minutes. The Negative Marking Factor: JEE and BITSAT punish guessing. For some, the VITEEE 2026 (which traditionally has had no negative marking, though some 2026 reports suggest experimental changes) feels like a "safer" environment to perform. The Admission Process (2026-27)...Read More

experience of first year student in priyadarshini college of engineering

I chose Priyadarshini College of Engineering primarily for its infrastructure and campus life. The campus is one of the largest in Nagpur (Digdoh Hills/CRPF area), which felt more like a proper university environment compared to the smaller campuses of Raisoni or Pallotti The fees are slightly more affordable compared to YCCE and RCOEM, and the placement opportunities for Computer Science/IT/CT branches are comparable to other Tier-2 colleges in the city if you have the skills...Read More
