Course Curriculum Overview
My choice of course is computer science because technology is developing day by day and eagerness to learn about them.The curriculam helps us to build real world projects which is used in day to day life.The exam timings is 3hours both for practicals and theory.The exam level varies some subjects are easy some feels difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is really good as it is less and beneficial for people who are financially not strong.The fee for year is 20000 excluding exam fee.Exam fee is around 1500 to 1800 which will be paid to vtu board as exams are conducted by vtu board.The fee for SC,ST is less compared to general category.
Campus Life
The campus is so big with good ambience,fresh air and trees.The hostel is situated inside the campus which helps students to come to college easily without expenses.All the books are available for studying the subjects that we have. Every class as a projector for pdf and videos.Our college supports compitation with inter colleges for sports and won many prizes over other colleges.We have groups for helping juniors with extra skills.
Admission
The main purpose for choosing this college is its government college and I wanted to reduce the financial stress on my parents.The major backdrop is it doesnt have placement facilities.The admission need to be paid by vtu fee which is around 18000 and then college fee will be paid which is around 17000 to 18000.The eligibility criteria is cut off marks in Dcet.
Faculty
Faculties are so good who give good marks by saying important questions that may arrive in exams,they help in developing skills that are needed for future which are useful. They help in clearing our doubts whenever students question about something.Our HOD helped us in many ways to improve skills.There are 3 internals and one final exams for each semester.
Night Life
The nightlife would be so good during nightlife durig independence day. I would say we are lucky as our college is situated near vidhan soudha.When the classes are completed early we would hangout in cubbon park with friends playing games,visiting library,planitorium and so on.We have a canteen inside the campus where the prizes are moderate and we have a bakery inside the campus for some snacks.
