Course Curriculum Overview

3

Our curriculum is not well organised and the reason for choosing BA was coz i am not from commerce background so i didn't want to go for the other stream. Our curriculum doesn't prepare us for real world you need to learn on your own. Our curriculum needs to be revised the schedule is very hectic and it drains the students

Internships Opportunities

3

As stated before college doesn't provide any internship the CRC is ok ok not very active students usually find internship through there own contacts or senior connection. But yes through senior contact you can get opportunity

Placement Experience

2

There is not such thing as placement in nirma mostly students get it from outside because of there hardwork. There are few companies but the package they offer is very low as compared to the fees which students have paid

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year for our batch 2022 is 2.7 lacs for the current 2024 batch 3.5 lacs something. Scholarship is available for meritorious students as well as merit cum means for which an email is circulated through which you can avail upto 100percent scholarship.

Campus Life

2

There are no such big events from our institute they are solely education driven institute just tiring the students one academic event after the other and just for the sake of it in the month of March something they organise a 1-2 day/ night event. And there is no such thing as campus life as institute of law

Admission

I got selected in NLU but they were not lower in rank so i thought why not nirma because it is more renowned there wasn't any big reasoning behind choosing nirma and i didn't apply anywhere it was just nirma as a backup rest all colleges either they are very expensive or the city is full of . To be eligible in nirma you need 2 things 1- form filling 2- money 2.8 lacs ready as soon as they ask you that's it and you are in

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is not that good. Faculty relationship with student is ok ok not very close but you can approach them for anything. Ramdas sir was good but he left the very next year . I cannot name the faculties i don't like coz it would land me into trouble. Exams are not that tough ce-1 and se-1 are two types of exams basically unit test and final exams types. Students if they fill pages and write something relevant to the question passing marks are given and our curriculum sucks i don't know who's designing it for students

Night Life

2

College campus is very boring construction all around outside campus if you have friends then sure you can go Around and see things and figure it out yourself but yes it's save to travel here river front manek chowk etc etc some famous hang out places

Placement Experience:

Maximum students passed out from ILNU go for corporate law while those who want to work in dream law firms get the much needed chance here. Top law firms like Cyrilchand Amardas and Trilegal and others also come for placement here. So, far the highest placements from ILNU has been of 24LPA.

Placements from campus are still lean but we are assisted through seminars and corporate events to find the best placements for ourselves. Our college makes us independent and make us competent enough that we don't have to struggle much for jobs.

Placement Experience:

For law students internship after every semester is mandatory. Hence, if they perform well there they can get placements without campus placements. In campus from corporate houses to various big law firms came and offered jobs worth 10-15LPA per annum. The placement percentage dropped significantly in our year and I don't know why but only half the students had placements from the campus. However, some students got placements worth 20LPA or more from our campus.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements right from their 4th year. We have our Day 0 in the month of august in our final year although most of the batchmates start getting their PPOs right from their 4th year. Top tier firms like SAM, CAM, AZB, NDA, Khaitan, Indus, and JSA, visit our campus for conducting the interviews on Da zero. Our seniors have been made 70 offers and 40 students got their jobs through campus placements. The highest Package lies around 22 lahks per annum and the average package is 6 lakh per annum. But very few students get placed through college placements and one has to be in the top 40 of the batch in order to get it through college.

Placement Experience:

Students after their 7th semester become eligible for placements. There are various companies and law firms such as Trilegal and Khaitan that hire students from the campus. Banks and chambers also hire students from the university. The average package is of 10 lacs per annum and atleast 70 percent of the students get placed through the campus recruitment. As if now I'm not sure if what to do after graduating but I'm trying to get a corporate job with a decent salary.
