COLLEGE AS PER RESEARCH CRITERIA IS NOT MET
REMARKS
The college is positive in the context of B.tech but as i told you not for M.tech or PhD(spl in CSE department) lack of infra and knowledge you will face every time you try for new things. The moral for making invention is missing here.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
It is upto the mark as per NIT level. The b.tech fee structure compare to other NIT and IIIT is medium. Here you will have the opportunity to waive off your entire fee as per scholarships from college.
PLACEMENT WING
Placements for the b.tech is very good here. Nowadays there are opportunity for M.tech as well. So if you are applying for B.tech then you need not to worry at all, but check your department placement and companies before entering into premises.
ADMISSION
Through Gate test, After giving Gate you have to go through entire process of CCMT which will be conducted by any NIT. There will 3 round and 1 open round(NSR) i got selected in NSR round for dual degree. On the basis of Gate score the cut-off will be set.On the basis of that admission wlll be taken.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
The hostel infra is not upto the mark in NIT patna. Even though the food is worst here. NO change in vendor is done don't know why they are doing this to us. Small size rooms with 9000/semester is ave amount.
ALUMNI
For civil and mech department you can't even count the alumni, but for CSE department only can count in 1 hand. All the alumni are from govt sector and well reputed designated officers. so no need to worry about interaction
FACULTY
Some of the faculties are very nice and professional and that is not limited to any 1 department only. You will find great teachers and researchers in every department of NIT patna, but few are literally are like why they are in NIT patna
CAMPUS LIFE
Annual sports for men and women separately announced. Other dance club, camera club, Intra-NIT and Inter NIT competition happen all the time in context of sports and studies. NOthing apart you can expect from here.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course curricula is well structured but upto btech level. For the M.tech they are trying to change the course structure The simple Exam structure will always let you be pass. There will be only 1 mid sem and end sem. In between class test and assignment will be given
COLLEGE EVENTS
Cultural event in January month for 4-5 days consisting of may activities and apart from activities there will be DJ and any singer on the last day will be present. Department wise tech fest are also organized.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Loan facilities are provided by your bank. NO loan facility provided by college. The scholarships are provided on the basis of your percentage/performance in the semesters. The fee will be waived off.
