Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good.The subject are well planned and the syllabus are related to the real world scenarios. Additionally we are thought subjects such as digital marketing, financial Planning which are related to real word and helps in skill development

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell of my college works constantly to bring more and more internship opportunities for the students. The internship opportunities are provided from very first day of college so that students can work in these internships and improve the skills Companies such as kpmg, delloite, accenture and other companies come to the college for internships for various roles.

Yes my college provides placements The placement cell of my college works constantly to bring more and more companies in the college. Students of 5th and 6th semester are eligible for placement Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, accenture, visit my college and the average pakage is 6 lpa The highest placement is 12 lpa Around 40 to 50 percent students gets placement but only for selected courses such as bcom , ba economics.

Fees for bcom (hons) 1st year fees 29,500 2nd year fees 29,750 3rd year fees 30,180 THE FEES OF OTHER COURSES IS SAME AS BCOM HONS SRI GURU TEGH BAHADUR KHALSA COLLEGE HAVE ONE OF THE HIGHEST FEES STRUCTURE IN DELHI UNIVERSITY BUT THE COLLEGE ALSO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2ND AND 3RD YAER STUDENTS BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE AND NEEDS MY SCHOLARSHIP 2ND YEAR 15000 3RD YAER 15000

Campus Life

The annual fest of SRI GURU TEGH BAHADUR KHALSA COLLEGE is called Lashkara and it helds in month of march Many societies also organise their own fests The library of my college is one of the biggest Librery in delhi University and it has so many books and they all are easily accessible Every classroom in my college have air conditioners and projectors The ground of my college is one of the biggest ground and every type of sports facilities are available in my college but cricket and volleyball are major sports There are various societies run by students such as commerce society, consultant society, dance society, acting society, etc

• I have applied for Sri Ram college of commerce, hindu college, hansraj college, ramjas college, kirorimal college, sri Venkateshwara College and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College of University of Delhi. I got admission in Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College according to my cuet score •Yes I got rejected from above college because my score was lower than cutoff. I got selected in Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College and i accepted the college •To get admitted in my college you need to give cuet entrance exam and you Will be selected according to your score. The cutoff for my college is 95 %

Faculty

The Faculty of college is one of the best faculty and they have great knowledge. Course Structure The college provides various courses such as BA , bcom , bcom hons , bsc , msc ,ma , mcom, etc The college runs semester wise and a semester is generally of 5 months Every semester we have to study seven subjects which includes three main subject and dse, ge , sec and vac Exam Structure The exam is semester wise Per subject marks in exam is 160 70 marks internal 90 marks external exam

Night Life

The nightlife in the college is not very good because everything closes in night. Generalized everything closes at 10 pm in night and only few shops open The hostel and campus timings are at 10 pm in night The famous hangout places are cafes in Hudson lane and Vijaynagar

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
