- faculty of our college are good they support us on every field of aspect.
- Size of campus is good, There is lots of space for walking and there is soo many greenery which feel comfortable.
- Infrastructure is also good labs are full with equipments and all necessary accesories.
Dislikes
- Our college is very strict in term of academics. We also have to maintain 75% attendance.
- If you are doing any internship or something then college will support you but you have to maintain the attendance criteria.
- There is no dress code in our college. It's upto you what do you want to wear during college time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer science and Information Technology because of my passion for technology and problem-solving. The course aligned perfectly with my career aspirations in software development. They must update their syllabus according to the industry demand like AI & ML, Block Chain, etc.
Internships Opportunities
IT Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL Technologies and many more are visiting in our campus for Internship hiring. The Core Companies are Siemens, Indian Oil, L&T, Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, etc. are also coming. This year lots of students has secured a good internship. Percentage of Students got internship is around 70-75%.
Placement Experience
A Minimum of 60% is required in academics and there is no active backlogs during the placement process. Some companies may set higher eligibility criteria, such as 70% or above. In IT Companies there are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL Technologies and many more are visiting in our campus for hiring. The Core Companies are Siemens, Indian Oil, L&T, Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, etc. are also coming. Typically, recruiters make 2-5 offers per profile, depending on the batch size and their requirements. This year the Highest Package goes Around ?44 LPA and Average Package is Approximately ?4.5-6 LPA, varying by department. Percentage of Students Placed is around 80-85%, with higher placement rates for branches like Computer Science, IT, and ECE.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year, I pay around 1,40,000 in which 1,10,000 is the Tution fee, 10,000 are security money and around 20,000 for other like lab fee, development fee, etc. But in second year I pay around 1,20,946 as security money and some other fee is not taken. Fee are same for all categories, If you are coming from FW (Fee Waiver) then the Tution fee in not taken.
Campus Life
Fest in our college is not much celebrated as we diwali fest, technical fest, and some other parties like fresher's party, farewell party, etc. A Collection of textbooks, reference materials, and international journals are available in our college library. There is also online access to e-books, journals, and databases for research. we have so many clubs and society for both cultural and technical. In cultural we have goonj, Taal, Horizon, IDEALab, etc. and in technical we have Software Incubator, Programming Club, Computer society of India, etc. A large playground for cricket, football, and athletics are available in our college. Indoor facilities for table tennis, badminton, and chess are also available.
Hostel Facilities
I have taken Hostel in First year and it was great experience there as you are able to connect lots of people and make friends. Food of mess is decent, The food is not like the food which are given in or homes but the quality is decent. You have to register i the time of admission in college as there is limited seat in hostel. There is a complete section of boys hostel and opposite to boys hostel girls also have complete section with boundaries and complete safety. There are also lots of PGs available there for both boys and girls at reasonable price.
Admission
Campus of our college is great and there are so many greenery. AKGEC is known for its academic excellence and strong placement records. Our college has state-of-the-art labs, a well-equipped library, and excellent campus facilities. As our college is Situated in Ghaziabad, it provides easy accessibility to Delhi NCR for opportunities like internships and industry exposure. Taking admission in our college is easy as you can take admission through UPTAC Councelling or through Direct Admission.
Faculty
The curriculum is designed as per AKTU guidelines, ensuring a balance between theoretical and practical experience. Most faculty members are highly qualified, holding postgraduate and doctoral degrees. Several professors have industry experience, which adds value to their teaching. Exams were conducted on schedule and strictly follow the academic calender.
Night Life
The nightlife in our college is amazing as there is gym available in our campus which is well maintained, library which is filled with books but library closes after 9 pm. Timing of campus is from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm but hostel timing is upto 10:00 pm. Inside college night is safe but not outside at day you can go outside also. Just near college there is market or hangout place called sanchi known for food.
