Remarks

College management is quite lithargic and not much cooperative at times. I feel that our college must also have a student council like other colleges, as it provide students with a platform to scale up their voices and opinions.

Entrance Preview

I gave SAT and there were certain reasons why I chose this course over others like :-Firstly, its a professional course unlike other courses. Moreover there are limited seats in limited colleges which gives me a sense of accomplishment and pride. Moreover as I would like to pursue MBA in my post graduations, I found this course very much apt and will help me build up on fundamentals for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I find my course structure quite comprehensive when it comes to covering several recondite and important topics. I find my faculty quite up to the mark. But sometimes I find few teachers showering their personal life frustrations instead of knowledge, I mean how can a teacher forget that she is a teacher and her main focus should not be just be coming and teaching just for the heck of completing syllabus, but should be making sure that each and every student in the class absorb what she intends to teach.

Placement Experience

2

Our college, rather our department I.e. department of management studies has its own placement cell which helps interested students juxtaposition themselves with the available opportunities. There are a limited number of companies that visit our campus, few of them are AT KEARNEY, foundation for MSME clusters. On an average, 10 students get placed every year from our department.

College Events

3

Our department in particular holds 3 events in an year. One of them being a cultural event and other 2 being management evesnts. On an average we are able to get a footfall around 1000 students in each of the management events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I find my fee structure quite affordable. Actually our college only provides hostel facilities for girls and not boys. So being a boy I don't know much about the hostel facilities such as hostel rooms, average rentals, mess food and other facilities that can be availed by a hostellier. But as much I have heard of it, its quite pathetic when it comes to mess food.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about any scholarships or loan facilities that can be availed through my college. But I would seriously like to know about them, and would work accordingly on myself so that I can avail them in future.

Campus Life

3.5

When it comes to college life, it is quite dependent on how active we are at a student level. Its in our hands what we make out of our college life. There are students who say, they had the best time of their lives in college, and there are students also, for whom even going college seem to be monotonous. I find our cultural societies capable enough to recognize and motivate the diversified talents of students.

Alumni/Alumna

When it comes to Alumni and seniors, they are not exactly seniors or alumni, they are like a family, which is available both in times of thick and thin.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
