Remarks

Positive Remark 1. Good Environment in the college campus.there is no illegal issues like drugs.smoking is also prohibited and also alcohol consumption. 2. Anti ragging committee is successful.there is no issue of ragging. 3. Placement is super. Negative Remark Actually really there is no negatively.But one thing you should keep on your mind you have work hard,don't fully depend on the college teachers.it is not possible to complete the full course within such less time periods.

It's fine.You will face many subjects from different stream and different specialization.As a student of electronics and communication my course is mainly features subjects from electronics,IT and communication.

Internships Opportunities

If you crack a job in any company.they may you offer internship.As a example intel offers us internship and our selected students earn 25,000/- per month.They are also enjoying their job and get some experience before permanent joining.

Placement Experience

As I mention before placements is super.you will get many opportunities to get a job.plenty of companies come in our college and offers us job.maximum of them called us in salt lake techno.our mass recruiter is TCS.students are also getting jobs in MINDTREE,WIPRO,INTEL etc.

There are many events that are celebrated in our college.These are so joyful and refreshing.Those are listed below. 1. Homecoming 2. Sports competition 3. Farewell 4. Annual Functions 5. And many more.some of them celebrated outside the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is affordable.When i am admitted the fees structure was 3.6 lakh for the entire course.it is divided it eight parts for eight semester.As i am a WBFS (west bengal freeship scheme) student i have to pay 1000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,i get freeship scheme.Its call west bengal free ship scheme (WBFS).Here I have to pay 1000 per semester.This scheme is applicable for economically poor students whose are stay in west bengal and also completed their secondary study in WB board.

Campus Life

There are many extra curriculum activities in our college.Have fun with your classmates and seniors also.Labs are awesome.Every lab contains air conditioner so environment is perfect and the instruments also give you the opportunity to explore yourself.sports are listed below. 1. Carram 2. Badminton 3. Football 4. Table Tennis 5. Cricket

Hostel Facilities

I am a local guy.My house is 45 minutes from my college.But my many friends stay in the hostel.Infrastructure is good.they are enjoying to studying and playing together.As sharing is caring,To share room with your roommates will build a nice friendship with your roommates.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are very helpful and informatic.specially when You have to buy previous year's organizer (a book which covers the entire course and will help you get good marks),go for seniors,they will offer you low price.

Exam Structure

This is a four year course.This course is consists of eight semester.There is also internal exam (2 exam) in each semester.There is also practical exams in each semester.Exam structure is good.somehow you will not get enough time to complete your course.so hurry hp and work hard to reach your destination.

Admission

I was appear for WBJEE.Ranked 15000.There is a college choosing process, where this college was on my third choice and I get the addmission here.My stream is ECE.College staff's behaviour was polite and gentle.

There is a good environment in the faculty.All the faculty members r really helpful and informatic.The lab teachers are awesome,they are friendly to students and also help us in challenging situations.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
