The honours degree is not divided into either 3 years or 4 years courses which ever you want to select you can choose while applying in Michael Madhusudan Memorial College. The fees of the colleges are very nominal I paid around 2500 rupees along with examination and enrollment fees. Also if you have a good percentage in your 10 and 12 boards like above 60% then students from the West Bengal board can apply for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship so that charges are actually not that much not like private colleges.

My campus life was really great I had all the accessibility to the books and journals well for English department there are two libraries the general libraries open for all and along with that we also have a seminar library which is only for us the literature students and we had access to both of them we could even select the books and then take it over professors for taking it in our home it's a very simple procedure. Also definitely in library cards of mandatory. The classroom facilities are really good at times we were allowed to watch a movies in our projector room cause we have a subject name Indian literature or Indian literature in English so our professors would encourage just to watch movies and at times is the show us like feluda or maybe Charlie Chaplin or maybe all the kind of things used to watch and then we also had escursions and exhibitions and all the other fun activity.

First of all I told this college over all the other colleges in Durgapur because it had the best faculty in English and I got selected in Government College my admission was also confirm but then I did not like the faculty members over there they were not ask friendly as the professors whom I am getting right now in my college so this was the primary reason why I rejected all the other college application and I finally choose Michael Madhusudan Memorial College.

The faculty members are really good. Especially in Ba honours in English of faculty members the professors they are always helpful there eager to make us understand make us learn they always help us with our assignments and our exams there helpful and caring. Regarding the core structure I have opted for 3 years honours so there are total 5 papers and each semester with first semester having two electives while is EVS and second one is education. In second semester you get a mile people which is very easy and 4 core English papers and in the final semester there are just a code papers and one DISC paper. The overall distribution of the course is very simple and the definitely help you to complete your honours as easy as possible. The syllabus is really divided so the students can easily clear them and not face the problem of backlog.

Oh we do not have any hostel or mess for the students within the college premises so there is no nightlife within the college campus. Harvard during the daytime you can sit around the college campus anywhere you want to with your friends you can study you can play games you can play badminton or volleyball during winter season the day life within the college is really fun
