Remarks

College does not have any ground but there faculty is very good and labs are also very good teachers are very helpful but any in winters there are issue of hot water in the hostel but they tried to solve the problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.tech course is good course but we have to boost our knowledge for good placements. B.tech needs practical information and we have achieve this for the success in our lives.also today life all the students goes in engineering career so there is a tough competetion.

Internships Opportunities

No college does not provide any internships. This is wrong and i do not prefer this but college gives summer training programmes for enhancement the skills and developing the brain the students and also help him.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements opportunities are good many companies are coming here such as cognizant ,IBM, tcs etc and students in mass number and also many company recruits in few number but in good package also trainings are also there.

College Events

3.5

There are many events that organise by college that is youthopia , sphurti etc and these events are 3 to 4 days long and very awesome events.there are many big superstars who came here in the time of this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite evpensive as if you include hostel then you are going to pay 3.5 lakh per year but in hostel this will include your laundry and also your gym and also mess so this is quit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships facility are there but i dont know about loan facility. But i also having scholarship for getting 80% higher marks in 12 exam. And also there are also scholarships for topper in college exams.

Campus Life

3.5

Basketball courts are very good and also there are cricket pitch but there is no ground there but having volley ball courts and having four table of table tennis and labs are also very good all apparatus are working properly.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is good there are nice rooms ,bathrooms are also good and water facilities are also good and electricity are also there 24 hours so there are not facing any big problems here so you can enjoy here.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are very nice they always encourage us and also seniors are also good as they teach us ,they gives notes and they give advice what to do and giving many helps also. They do not even rag us. Ragging is prohibited in campus so freshers does not any type of load.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very good as there are four exams in a semester in which there are two quizes, mid terms and end terms and there are exams in regular way. The duration of exams are two hours of mid term.

Admission

I got admission through board merit list and there are counselling arranged for us and also they get there admission through jee mains basis and also there are direct admission for abroad students. And also we have to make demand drafts.

Faculty

Faculty of college is nice they always encourage us for doing hard work and for study. They always willing to teach us and they always clears the doubts of students. And also they are very humble with students.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya - Review

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.
