Likes

The lab facilities are good and the equipments used are good
The faculties are excellent in their teachings
They will provide you with questions banks for studying

Dislikes

The lab faculties are little rude and some are slow in teaching and I had this issues only with EEE lab faculty
During Rainy season some parts inside the campus used to flood
There won't be celebrations for most of the festivals

Course Curriculum Overview

I am now a first year student and the subjects I am studying now is common to all the department From second semester our course subjects will start.For semester exam there will be study leave and leave inbetween each exams most of the time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is offered for all the department.Companies Like Infosys, Capgemini,etc... give internship program.ISRO also provide internship programmes mostly for aero department.You will do mostly projects during the fourth year.

Placement Experience

The placements are good in KCG college of Technology.Many companies come for recruitment.For example, Infosis, Capgemini,etc...We can participate in as many projects as we want.Symposium will be conducted once a year in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got the seat through TNEA counselling, the actual fees for a year is 1,75000 but mine is 1,25000 because of TNEA counselling.I opted for hostel inside the campus,for common bath room 95000 and for attached bath room 1,0000.The lab facilities and the faculties are good.

Campus Life

The campus life is good.We have a campus store,a burger shop,a canteen inside the campus.Another canteen is also there inside the main block.A Chatt items shop is also there inside the campus,infront of FT block.

Hostel Facilities

I got a double sharing room with a common bath.The is spacious and you will be provided with a table,a chair and a little spacious cupboard.There a dinning hall with a TV.For common bath room the yearly fees is 95000 and for attached bath room the yearly fees is 1,0000.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

This college is affiliated to Anna University and one of the best college for studying aerospace engineering.This is a autonomous college.I got the seat through TNEA counselling and my cutoff is near 175.

Faculty

Some faculties are nice but some are a little rude but everyone will help you with studies.In aerospace department, for the first year all the faculties are nice.There are two CA exams CA1 and CA2 and one model exam with model lab and semester exam with lab.Many students struggle to pass in Engineering Graphics.

Interview Experience

No ,we didn't had any interview or written test for the admission.I got the seat through TNEA counselling and I had a reduction in fees structure.We Just have to take admission and have to pay the fees and you will be allowed to take the classes.

Night Life

The library can be used only during working hours.We should be inside the campus before 9.00am and the classes will be over by 4.00 pm.Hridayam ,a malayalam movie was taken in this college by Vineeth Srinivasan who studied in this college.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
