I wanted to take journalism and Mass Communication, and that too in Kolkata. I came to know that by word of mouth, this is one of the best colleges in Kolkata for Mass Communication, with around six professors for a single course. I got rejected from Jadavpur College as I received around 92.25 percent which did not meet the merit cut-off level of the college. The admission process relies on the application via the official online website, and it can be based on the last percentage gathered by the candidate. Besides getting selection in St Xavier's college and MUC college in Burdwan. I also got selected for Lady Braboune, South Calcutta girls college and many other. I didn't opt for any of there because maximum of my criteria were fulfilled in Asutosh Mookherjee college. I didn't make it to Xavier's College Kolkata due to some financial problem and in Jadavpur University, I couldn't clear the admission test.
