- The education in my college is Good and even the facilities were helping the students well.
- Every year placement trying is going on to train the students to get placed and college is offering placement ms too.
- Both the girls and boys ratio is almost equal.
Dislikes
- Programs or functions will be less as compared to other.
- The labs were good but some systems are not getting work so for that I suggest to provide those resources.
- In my college most of the students were muslim as it is Muslim's college, but the thing is the girls were always use to wear burka during class hours also for that others students were eto comfortable with that.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I choosed is Bachelor of engineering in computer science and engineering The reason behind to choose this course is the trend or technology in the world is running on computer systems and the software or hardware so I like to choose this course. To improve in any particular course is to follow the guidelines by the facilities and study for the exam and learn the skill with them.
Fees and Financial Aid
•The year wise fees I paid is 31360 because I joined to my college through the cet quota (Common Entrance Exam) in Karnataka, I got SNQ quota so the fees was reduced for me. • For the students who joined for management quota, the fees structure will be from 3Lakhs to 5Lakhs only for first year, from the next year half of their first year will be taken by the college. •The fees I will pay for yearly includes tuition fees, admission fees, registration fees but for lab fees I will pay 5000 for every year • •For SC/ST students the fees structure will be 750/- for cet students •Scholarships for General OBC students and for SC/ST will get every year based on their category Usually for SC/ST the scholarships will be 80-85 thousand per annum For OBC General category students it will be 20-25 thousand per annum.
Campus Life
Every year in our college, management use to conduct Calypso event for students to enjoy and to show their ultimate talents to entertain everyone basically it will be held in function halls. And the festivals like kannada rajyotsava, onam will be celebrated grandly. Coming to the sports, every game will be conducted as per the scheduled time and they will provide the sheilds, winner gifts and the cash price for those who played the game well and got won. Our college library was so good which provides books based on their respective courses to study for students and provides good environments. The technology in the class rooms was like projectors are there and smart board is available to teach better the the visual like videos to get better understanding for students.
Admission
The reason behind I choose to this college is a good teaching environment. I joined through the cet (common entrance test) exam in Karnataka, during councelling I applied for many colleges but for me hkbk college of engineering is allotted for SNQ quota, this is very lucky to me because my fees got reduced as compare to others students as well as good college I got soo I decided to join this college.
Faculty
The facilities in our college was too good and they are maintaining the good relationship with the students by helping them during classes, in labs etc The best faculty is not who teach the students who study well, he or she should able to train the weak student also they are best facilities for every student, I lucky to see those type of students who are in my college In our college, per every sem they will conduct 3 theory internal exams and 1 lab internal exam After that, one will be external theory and practical exam will be conducted as per the university Markins systems also good as per the students answer
Night Life
In the first year, the hackathon was held which the students stayed in college even at night to learn more things about course and to do project. Both the girls and boys hostel will be provided for the students who came from far to study here, they provide the good environment , food as well as shelter. I'm day scholar I know this much about hostel.
