Course Curriculum Overview

3

the curriculum is pretty good but i find environmental studies that's a mandatory very unnecessary. even though the ugc has implemented it but still that's hard. certain teachers just read off of ppts. the exams are assignments are sometimes piled together too close

Internships Opportunities

3

internships are provided by college atleast for my course for 3rd sem on a mandatory basis unless you are a part of some forum in college. that consists marks and they offer nice stipends like last time armani exchange came for internships

Placement Experience

4

campus offers proper placements and training for it aswell. they also provide internships and mandatory ones aswell which consist of certain marks for your final aggregate. GT, ACCENTURE, KPMG and a lot of other companies have offered placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 50000 more than for domestic students for international and NRI students for the same course. There's scholarships for people who scored over 85% in board exams and other than that exam fee is usually around 1500

Campus Life

3

there's various clubs and other emerging ones. there's two major events in a year, the freshers fest and then the jain University youth fest. then in campus events for the day are also arranged and various pop ups are set up.

Admission

the fee affordability, living costs and lifestyle made me choose this college and not the others. this also had my preferred course and a pretty good reputation with good placements. admission process consisted of a written online exam and a personal interview round

Faculty

4

we have internal assessments which are basically projects for each chapter and each subject and it's categorised as half of the 100 marks of total. two unit tests for my course and then a final exam. exams are usually not as tough but lengthy

Interview Experience

4

i had to go through a online written test and there was no group discussion. a one on one personal online interview was also taken as a finalization after qualifying the written test. i prepared using my books and youtube

Night Life

3

there's a bunch of cafeterias and a mall with a movie theater near the campus. night life around it is mostly chill for some tea and gossip with friends. a fastfood stall called darjeeling is a very famous spot to eat at

Placement Experience:

I have not yet attended any of the placement scenario, so I cannot say much about the placements. I also do not know correctly about the percentage of students placed. There are various companies that come to our campus for interviews. There are around 40-50 companies that are welcomed. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, HP, and so on. The average package can roughly be like Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
