What Students Say

Likes

Campus infrastructure, library, canteen food, classrooms

Dislikes

Accounts department , improper management

Course Curriculum Overview

It covers a large aspect of subjects. The curriculum definitely prepares you for real world applications. The teaching method is efficient for the students. Exams frequency is a hectic thing , as it happens after every 1 or 2 months.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 147500 per year

Placement Experience

Form 4th year, that is,7th semester, students are eligible to sit in placements.Companies like samsung, Infosys, josh technology,Accenture visited.the highest package is 14 lpa and lowest is 3 lpa.My plans after getting the job is to get higher positions in this field only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for B.tech in AKGEC is 147500 for first year and then it reduces to 120000. The college also provides scholarships and awards for becoming the topper in exams. The college has various cultural and technical societies and you can become a member of these societies.

Campus Life

Annual fests are not there , but technical fests are there by different societies in the college.Zonal level sports are there and college level sports events are organized by students and they also get certificate for the same.

Admission

No , I applied to this college only. The process is simple, you can apply via your jee course and 12th percentage. After that, you have to submit your required documents to the college authorities, then your admission is done.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:2 . The faculty doesn't engage much with the students. You can ask doubts only in the classrooms. Also, you cannot reach out to faculties whenever you want, you need to wait and ask.

Night Life

Hostels are available in campus. The fees for hostels are 120000 and both girls and boys hostels are seperate. Canteen, gym and library are there in the hostel .There is nothing famous spot mearthe college.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
