Remarks

Management of the college is very good. Exposure for extracurricular is brilliant but the staff are kinda arrogant so which is very important for very student at the end of the day. The students should have the best teachers. Also not every lecture are arrogant but negative things always stands out to people so I’m mentioning it. Most of my friends had a very hard time in handling few lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Very regress and the knowledge what we get at the end of the year is emmense so very day counted and my course was CBZ chemistry botany zoology. The course was helpful to touch hold most of the current fields.

Internships Opportunities

No, this is a major drawback in south Indian colleges which has to change a big time. I’m now into research so I know more about how the internship and stipend works which is a major drawback in most of the reputable university.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is not wide range of opportunities for science background but for commerce they have a good placements. A lot to change for the future of science in South Indian reputable universities. It’s sad that people are being so advanced globally in science but we are still laid back with only marks being the priority.

College Events

5

The events are a blast in mount Carmel cause we don’t not party average. It’s a great break and the events are very good which ever you considered from republic to independence , science day and fest. They are great and the management skills of students gets enhanced in this process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is considerable fair. The commerce fee are very expensive I don’t get it why the college fees are so expense in India. It’s like people are making studies commercial and inputting knowledge for their students. It’s not fair to keep such high fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I’m not aware of any such scholarship and also the scholarship in India are mostly favoured to backward classes which is fair. So the scholarship I’m not much aware of cause I ddnt receive any of it.

Campus Life

5

Labs are considerably good as I’m from pure science background. They have to enchance the experimentally driven advanced science which is nil in the college we are still stuck in same old technique but the advanced techniques like CRiSPR has to be ought to the students which again is major drawback.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

I was not a part of the hostel so I don’t wanna be wrong but as per the experience of the friends it’s not that good. The accommodation are very small in space the food is very bad. The stuff is extremely arrogant. Parents opt the hostel accommodation only cause they it’s safe.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior are very helpful and they have our backs all the time. They share the experience and even records which are helpful to us. The senior also run few college events which is always a blast. They are very friendly.

Exam Structure

It’s very good if we come to the exam infrastructure and very strict management. The results are being show cased really quick less than 30 days. The exam time tables are available before 2 months are the exam date. The management of the college is brilliant.

Admission

It was based on the cut off and later the interview I obtained for pure science so I the interview was very basic. The degree college principal was very friendly and humble. They had a cutoff range within which my score was adhered.

Faculty

2.5

Being honest not all the lectures are helpful to students being very specific not the zoology dept but the other depts was very helpful and kind they were individually mentoring each students growth and development

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
