What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure is very good and cleanliness is maintained in the campus.
The faculty is very professional and has experience in teaching for years .
All the labs are good and all the equipments are working.

Dislikes

College time is more due to which people staying far away from college have to invest more time in travelling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study artificial intelligence and data science and i was sure to study this combination itself. I dont wanted to study machine learning etc .The curriculum is very well designed and the frequency of exam is also good

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 128000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees is 128000 as an open category candidate i have to pay this much. And my friends fees vary according to their caste and also the exam fees are different which are included. According to last year's fees this year fee is increased. Their are scholarships provided for students.

Campus Life

Till now my experience is very good .Im very much involved in the activities and events actively which gives me a lot of experience practically. Also about the fun part there is special event named 'ALACRITY' in which all the students participate and have fun.

Admission

I was seeking for vit,but it was far away from my home and its fees is also very high so my decision was to take aissms ioit as it is close and feasible to me and fees are also affordable. Also my cet percentile was more than the cut off of aissms ioit i easily got into it.

Faculty

The faculty is very friendly and professional at the same time. The teaching method is very helpful. The 50:10 method of teaching helps the students to develop stage confidence. The exams are very much relevant to the teachings, due to which not much difficultly is faced while studying.

Night Life

There are not many places to hangout near my college as there is RTO on one side ani pune railway station on the other .If you want to hangout you must go to places like JM road,FC road etc. There are canteens in the college and recently a cafe has started. I suggest not to hangout at night near college especially for girls.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember
