- Faculties are very friendly and supportive. Some faculties are very strict and ideal for better performance.
- Quality of education is good. The labs are large enough for everyone to perform their experiments comfortably.
- The course covers various fields of work and is ideal for an all around development.
Dislikes
- Canteen food is expensive than the outside campus food stalls.
- Library is very small and noisy for most of the time.
- The events hall is small and not suitable for very big events. Bigger events are to be done in the football ground.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed Data science as it is the best course in the college till date and the highest package was also achieved from this branch. The curriculum is well planned for a detail roadmap for us. Also we are supplied with various extra courses to gain knowledge about the real life situations in the field. The teachers can be a bit more interactive and can teach with more examples and realtion to the field we are persuing.

Campus Life
the library is well equiped with different genre of books. The classrooms have smart boards . And from 2nd year you can get into labs that are all equipped with proper air conditioning. A lot of sports and extracurricular activites are held around the calender. some namely- Clash of Creativity, TMCL, and various different events organised by the respective clubs. There are clubs here named- technotkarsh, eclectica, iic, samaritans, geekonix, edge etc.
Admission
I applied to this college only. i choose this college over the other i had in option as it has a good network and one the best Tech Fests among the other colleges in kolkata. No i didnt applied to any other college other than this. Admission process is same like in other colleges taking admission through WBJEE. After documents verification all you need to do is pay for the course and similar miscellaneous expenses. Then you get the payment slip and can collect your books, bag, identity card etc from the library.. admission is taken through WBJEE, JEE and also through direct admission. WBJEE is mostly preferred for admission. You can get in with a rank of range 1-12000.
Faculty
The faculties are mostly very supportive and friendly. They are always there to help and are very approachable. Very friendly relationship. The Electrical faculty is the best here. Most approachable and friendly. The Physics faculty is the least liked by all as they are very strict and not very approachable. There are 4 College exams- CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4. CA1 and CA2 are presentation and report writing upon topics you learnt. CA3 and CA4 are written exams. None of the exams are very difficult. Everything comes up from the topics taught in the class. Course Curriculum is absolutely relevant.
Night Life
after classed we can enjoy the time with our friends in the canteens and sport grounds. mostly classes start from 9 am in 1st year. Hostel is not provided by the college. you must get a pg or a flat. The college is in a pretty safe location - sector 5 . you can easily catch a metro and go to nearby locations like salt lake stadium for a hangout. else here also in sector 5 there are parks and grounds where you can go for a walk or some sports.
