Remarks

The university is good place for students who has not been able to create an everlasting impression during their schooling and it is no way detrimenting the students future but provides a level playing field for them to excel although the fee structure might make it little inconvenient for a lot of aspirants.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is no way lagging in terms of what is provided at delhi university and it is quite vast to be precise by there isn't a proper arrangement of the term paper which are randomly thrown in the six semesters. Moreover the curriculum also lack in adaptating to the latest need of the hour.

Internships Opportunities

The college does provide internship during the summer break and since I never was a part of any such intership it would be unethical on my part to comment on any such programme but definitely the stipend provided is definitely enticing.

Placement Experience

3.5

Being a literature student, I had a clear idea of not settling for anything less than a postgraduation degree but for others I would suggest the placement is fairly good definitely not in par with other high end private university.

College Events

3.5

There are a variety of events and festivals organized at regular intervals throughout the entire academic year. The annual college festival "CHORUS" is regarded as north india biggest youth festival. Other than that university also organises fest for all its school including a literature fest "Inkwash", media fest "Media mela" , Engineers fest "Contrivance".

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for a regular B.A programme is roughly around 90,000 which is extremely high. It is definitely a huge amount when the person is just doing a degree in literature. Moreover other streams also has such exhobriant prices.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university offers a wide range of scholarship depending on once term total. I myself have availed a scholarship of16,000 in a single academic year. It also offers special benefits to students who have done brilliantly in fields other than academics as well.

Campus Life

4

There is a good infrastructure in terms of sports and other extracurricular activities and is no way behind any other prime university of india. It boast of badmintan, volleyball, badminton basketball ball courts along with a fully functional gym.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel and infrastructure are definitely the brighter side of sharda university which boast of over 5 lavishly built hostel that accomdates over 2000 students and faculties. It has a clean and we'll maintained mess and a functional play area and other arenas.

Alumni/Alumna

There is good alumini network and sharda conducts regular alumini meets for the once who have left the university towards greener pastures. The university also tries to keep a tab on its alumini who are the real gems of the college.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is clearly semester based which last a span of 6 months and has a mid term which amounts to the 20% of the total the rest 30% is based on students regular class assessment. And the end term amounts for the remaining 50%of the total.

Admission

I came to know about the college through tv advertisement and decided to visit the campus and there I was bowled by the beautiful infrastructure. And then I was interviewed in the counselling lounge which was relatively a cakewalk. It was just random question thrown at you. Then I was offered 10 % scholarship.I was back in the college after a week and started my classes in a span of 2 days.

Faculty

4

Although faculty is well trained and has a potential to match a top institute standards but with recent development it does lack in experience which could be detrimental in a longer aspect. It also has well trained lab technicians who adds to the value of bettering a students worth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.
