Remarks
Positive thing about college is that placement only because every year our tpo come up with more than 75 companies. And negative about college is watchman, this sounds funny but every day security rules changes.
Course Curriculum Overview
as I am e&tc student this Course has wide scope. We can work in information technology domain as well as in our core domain. So every branch has here wide scope except civil. Placement for civil is not there. Hardly 10 companies hire civil student.
Internships Opportunities
There is no such special opportunity for internship. It only inform us if any organisation hiring for internship and so that we could apply for them.there are not much companies come to hire students for internship.
Placement Experience
This is the only thing I like about pccoe not only me but every one appreciate our college for this. Because our tpo has huge contacts with top MNCs / organisations. Almost 95-98 percentage placement done every year.
College Events
There are various events in college. Two main events are arranged through out the year. One is cultural event and other is technical event and department wise events arranged through out the year.in technical event there are various technical event which enhances our knowledge and storms our brains.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Normal fee structure is there.for open category it's 1 lakh , for obc category 50-60k and for sbc it's 12k and sc and nt students it's 2k only.it's because government pay them remaining amount and for non Maharashtrian student it's upto 1lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
College inform us about scolarship provided by government they don't provide any special scolarship for students. Student can earn money using scean learn and earn. In day time student attend college and after that he can work and calculating his/her hours accordingly he earn his money or so called stipend.
Campus Life
Talking about extra curricular college give us chance but they expect we should manage academics and extra curricular in proper way. For sports we have huge lawn and playground. For innovation we have labs. And sport club have various indoor games also
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. In every room there is separate washroom and toilet is there. Gym is also available for hostelite but food is not so good.Sometime we face problem of water supply.it is only problem with hostel other wise it is okay
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were so helpful. They not only guide us but also explain us or talk with us about everything other than studies also.they also tell us about how to behave in front of perticular faculty, sounds funny but yes they are supportive.
Exam Structure
Exam structure in pccoe is worst. In every semester we supposed to give 2 unit tests. And if we could not clear them then we have to give retest or have to complete tasks so that they can enter into the record.
Admission
I have done my 12th and also gave entrance exam which is JEE. And aggregate of 12th percentage and entrance exam should be better so that you will get admission in this College. I am obc category student so merit was low for us as compared to open category student.
Faculty
We have PhD holders but they don't know how to teach how to explain student. They just know how to piss off student. They only know to give tasks. From low attendance to absent in unit test they punish students with lot of assignments(donkey work).
