Likes

I liked the friendly nature of the faculty
There are almost all facilities like parking ,lift ,canteen etc...
Well equipped specious classrooms and clean washrooms

Dislikes

It is a bit crowded in the college with a lot of students
There is no ground facilities in the campus
Canteen provides only fast food and not dayily eatable Nutritional food

The course is in psychology, human resources management, communicative english and employment relations It is a beautiful combination of subjects that helps in building a good career The curriculum is practical application based

Many internship opportunities including the one from wipro and Corizo are available Internship is a part of learning in Jain University and is integrated with the course Also provides course online certificate courses for free

Placement Experience

It is said that jain provides 90% placements and the rest go for higher studies The placements are really good as the have inhouse placements if the student is not placed in any other field or sector The courses provided in jain itself are best omce so it will be easy to get a job even without campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is 175000 Registration fee is 25000 The total course fee is 150000 Additional stydent loans are provided with 0% intrest from liqui loans It us the best option to go with the loan option with an emi of 21000 approx for 1 month

Campus Life

The campus had a canteen, lot of classrooms,2 floor parking, 1 common area, 4 seminar halls and many more facilities including ac faculty in classrooms , security and clean drinking water with clean and hygiene washrooms

Admission

I had applied to christ university with jain But what made me choose jain is the practical learning method here In christ the syllabus is mostly the same from old times so i preffered chiosing jain over christ But christ is better in terms of fees

Faculty

Faculty are young and energitic Teach using the latest technology and methods They are approachable Exam structure is 50 marks for projects and assignments and 50 marks for written exams Together addup to 100 marks There will be 8 subjects per every semester

Night Life

The college ends by 5pm so there wint be any students staying back till night but the hostel life is nice with clean rooms and home service facilities Lot college has well equipped security guards all over the campus

Campus Life @ Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The campus was too good in its environment.
The exposure was too good with good library facilities.
We can socialise with Pan Indian exposure

Dislikes

Hostel facilities was not well maintained
Hostel food was not that much good sometimes
College was situated in a rural place, it was so hard to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Events are organised well ,and with full fun
Faculties are qualified lecturers and friendly
My batchmate are very much interactive and fun

Dislikes

Fee is not worth to the college they are money minded
The behaviour of principal is not good towards students
80 persent over there are Malayalam students

The course which i have taken criminology and psychology is way more interesting and the faculties are also very cooperative and we conduct industrial visit per sem and exams and strictly conducted in pur college

Likes

The quality of teaching for my course - BA Economics (Hons) is exceptional. The professors give quality time with each student to ensure concepts are clear and go beyond the surface level teaching of all concepts.
Every student gets their own mentor, who is a professor within the University who will help you guide yourself through everything, ranging from academic difficulties to personal grievances. There are regular sessions scheduled with these mentors..
There is plenty of freedom in the university. Unlike other university's there is no strict dress code or unreasonable rules for the students to follow. The campus allows each indivitual to be true to themselves.

Dislikes

The campus is very far from the city, making it difficult to have any sort of weekend get aways to the city tiresome. There are very few places around the campus that will let you experience city life.
The university does not encourage competitive spirit festivals like youth festivals apart from sports. Hence narrowing down the avenues where students can get certificates for extra curriculars to add on to your CVs
Academic rigor can get too overwhelming sometimes and one may not get time to study for other parallel exams for masters like GMAT, CAT, GRE etc. Finding time for extra curriculars may also get difficult.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.

The minimum mark is to aggregate 60% in sslc and hsc..and the entrance is based on u wish either jee,jet or comedk.
