Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum for my course is quite big and can't be completed in one semester as the teachers only say this. The course is too vast and outdated and while the teachers Try their best to complete the course but it's too much to be completed in 4-5 months. Exams happen every semester and if any semester it's hard then in the next batch it will be easy

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a college affiliated to university of Delhi. The fees for DDUC is 3x in comparison to other colleges inspite it being completely funded by Delhi Government. They say the fee structure is such because of the state of art infrastructure but the infrastructure keeps falling, the lift doesn't work, the admin is very non-cooperative especially the commerce branch one. The fees for one year that is two semesters in my first year was 27000 approx then in my second year I paid 29000 though 2000 was refunded once the student union protested.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is great . College has a big sports complex and a lot of games are played. And taught there. In extracurriculars something or the other keeps happening every other day. Every class has ACs and projector facilities and wifi is also available throughout

Admission

I didn't choose this college but this college did choose me and I couldn't afford ab upgrade because it mat have happened that I could have got into a girls college and I didn't want that. After coming to this college I naturally made friends here and quite good ones who are still me friends and even best friends. I quite easily adjusted here so didn't feel the need to upgrade the college. Well as cliched as it sounds I wanted to get in SRCC but couldn't because of my marks. Which was not that good honestly.

Faculty

4

The faculty members of our college are genuinely very good. They take regular classes and teach quite passionately even now. They always guide the students in whatever things they need assistance in. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 faculty per 40 students so this is quite great too. I liked Renu Aggarwal ma'am as she always helps us and even sometimes hold councelling sessions for us and being the tic she has really done a lot for the students. I also like Anand saxena sir and Deepak Sehgal sir for their passion for teaching and their unique teaching style. From Anand sir's KAASH IN MY WALLET to Joy of giving to Deepak sir's habit of always sharing the daily updates with us on stoch market and coming in class always with the newspaper. The best faculties are Deepak sir, Meghna ma'am, Renu ma'am and even Anand saxena sir. The faculties I didn't liked were Anek goyal our fit india teacher as he is too rude to students not in any sports and literally bullies them and Vikas sir of ba program economics department. He gives a lot of favours to notorious students idk why but it's quite obvious he does this. There are 2 main exams per semester one is internal assessment and then practical if needed and the final exam. The easy and difficult level depends on the subject.

Night Life

5

DDUC doesn't have much outlets just a canteen and the amul outlet is also closed now. Though the canteen has good food but it's quite limited and other than that library is quite big and is fully sir conditioned and has wifi too. College also has gym but it isn't used or should I say not open. It's always closed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
