Remarks

I honestly loved the 3 years I have spend in my college. It has gave me so many memories. My college has given me so many new experiences and helped me grow as a much better person. Even though it's an evening college , I have always felt save in traveling or being near the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think the merit list admission is the best option for undergraduate courses. The optional subjects in b.a program used to change according to each semester exams. I think it's the best option to cover up all the different types of fields in a particular course. A student can choose any subject he/she is willing to study and has a bit interest in.

Internships Opportunities

Yes , my college provides internship. I didn't take up the internships provided by them as I was doing internships from internshalla and other sources. My college provided internship in different platforms.

Placement Experience

5

My college has a seperate placement cell for the students. Students from any course can come up and apply for jobs. The main goal of the placement cell in my college is to provide employment opportunities for students who are in need for it. They also provide counseling sessions for the benefit and upliftment of the students.

College Events

4.5

Tree plantation , clean campus drive , blood donation camp , health check camp , slogan writing competition , treasure hunt , photography , street play , dengue awareness , entrepreneurship development , youth convention , seminars on different topics and especially Bhagat Singh jayanti was celebrated in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college is highly feasible. Everybody can afford to pay the required account for different courses. The fee structure includes the amount payable for usage of labs and other college facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't really know about the scholarship or loan facility which has been offered by my college. It might be offered by other colleges under Delhi University or any other universities in India. Delhi University doesn't usually offers scholarship programs.

Campus Life

5

My college has multiple labs which have all the information that students need. Sports choices in my college are cricket , football , basketball , table tennis. My college also has a lot of different societies like music , dance , debate , NSS , English society , commerce society , photography society , etc. All the extracurricular activities provided by my college are super fun and interesting.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

My college doesn't have hostel facilities. But they do inform the students about the paying guests facilities which were available near the college campus. The president of our college was really helpful in suggesting students new and safe places where they can live.

Alumni/Alumna

Our networks with senior students are really good. Most of them are known and are really helpful. All we have to do is drop a message to them and they will help us with study material and/or admissions or any other course related help we need.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is based through merit list or entrance exam. My exam structure has 8 different optional questions in which we have to attempt 5 which are of 15 marks each. The exam is for 3 hours and strictly based on our syllabus.

Admission

I got admission through the merit list provided by du. Firstly I registered myself in du through online forms given on the du website. Then I kept on checking the cut-off lists and went into different colleges for the admission. Then my percentage finally matched with the required percentage in Shaheed Bhagat Singh evening college and I got the admission.

Faculty

5

The faculty of my college varies from different courses and subjects present in my college. All the faculty members are so enthusiastic nd dedicated in their work. We are blessed to have such a great variety of faculty members.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
