Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was a student of biology and was preparing for neet i couldn't get a seat so I liked medicine and study of human body so these influenced me to choose this course, The curriculum is well prepared focusing on various aspects of pharmacy also preparing according to the current situations Improvement should be in the way of teaching they mainly take class through ppts that should change i guess 2-3 weeks prior they tell about the exams so 2 sessionals and one sem end exams they are usually moderate to easy

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for kcet students was 27500 for kea and college people took 39950 , overall around 70-80k this is for the people under cet exam.for normal admission to ramaiah college it would be 2.5L/year excluding hostel fees , hostel would be around 60-70k/yr

Campus Life

5

The campus is vast all 13 faculties in the same area with lots of stalls and a beautiful park called murlivan ,This is the interesting part of our college annual fest is akira happens around March end ig,and some normal events happen along the way like kannada rajyotsav and all . The library provides all the books needed and journals are also useful we can take them for 15 days . Classrooms are equipped with smart board where classes will be taken and audio transmission through speakers also this year they included new facility that is providing recorded lectures of class through video capturing system that is useful i would say.various clubs are present students can join according to their interests, book clubs groups rotarct club and sports everything good if th student is interested he can join in them

Admission

First thing is the reputation of ramaiah group of institutions heard a lot about it from friends and family, I chose this college because it has experienced faculty and a very good infrastructure facilities.other colleges just focus on exams but here more focus if given for knowledge and practical learning. I applied for around 10 colleges including pes college of pharmacy, dayanand sagar college of pharmacy, al ameen college of pharmacy, st John's college of pharmacy, nitte college of pharmacy andy first preference was ms ramaih college of pharmacy and I did get that in my first round but I got pes in mock allotment so I changed the order and made ramaiah first preference No rejection from other colleges but thought of Christ but they had entrance exam and all i didn't had that much time Two ways of joining college through kcet common entrance test conducted by Karnataka examination authority (kea) or through entrance test conducted by ramaiah university of applied sciences Most preferred are kcet exams because fees will be less and cut-off is usually low because of high demand for seat in this college

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ration is good, faculties for human anatomy and physiology are good as they are more experienced and I don't like a teacher of inorganic chemistry she's always arrogant and gives lods of assignment without any reason , the curriculum is relevant and they conduct 2 sessional exams and one sem end exams they are moderate to hard depending on students most of our class students cleared but around 50 students failed in first sessional of inorganic chemistry

Night Life

5

Gym is present in the campus but it is quite small and cafeterias are also present along the road down side each faculty has their own librarys like engineering is separate medical is separate ours pharmacy is separate, hostel usually close at 10 no entry or exit after that except emergencies The campus usually becomes empty after 10 because all the gates close by that time Manu places are present nearby like corner house, kfc, burger king , macdonalds , kunafa world ig food is not a problem i would say

Placement Experience:

Since I am currently in my first year (2nd semester), I have not directly participated in the campus placement drives yet. However, based on interactions with our seniors and the faculty, students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester (final year). The college has a highly active and dedicated placement cell that works hard to bring in reputed pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Organizations like Apollo Pharmacy, Cipla, and Sun Pharma are known to recruit from our campus. The profiles offered to B.Pharma graduates generally include roles in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Data Management. From what we have been informed, the average package offered to freshers is around ₹3,00,000 per annum, with the highest packages going up to ₹4,50,000 to ₹5,000,000 per annum, depending on the recruiting company and the student's academic performance. A strong majority, roughly 70% to 80% of the students who actively participate in the placement process, successfully secure job offers. As for my personal plans after completing this degree, I aim to join the pharmaceutical industry to gain practical experience, ideally in clinical research or pharmacovigilance. Eventually, I plan to pursue a Master's degree (M.Pharm) to further specialize and advance my career in the healthcare sector.
