I am currently final year student at CSE department so for i couldn't find any drawbacks in my department

Course Curriculum Overview

In our curriculum most of the courses have integrated labs so we are able to gain more pratical knowledge along with technical knowledge . Students are encouraged to engage in mini projects so it is easy for us to engage in real world application scenario .In our department provide more technical seminar and webinar session .

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees 125000 transfort fees 45000 in our college having all type of scholarship for student I our department having lab facilities and and having GDG CLUB and PACE ASSOCIATION AND GRAPHICS DESIGNING CLUB and students are completed more that 150 members completed AWS CLOUD CERTIFICATE and for 100 members complete MICROSOFT COMPLETION CERTIFICATE FEES BENIFITS: FOR MORE THAT 180 CUTOFF STUDENTS WILL GET FREE OF TUTION FEES FOR MORE THEN 170 CUTOFF TUTION FEES WILL BE FREE FOR THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE JOINING AS A LATERAL ENTRY FEES WILL BE 99000

Campus Life

My overall experience about my campus life is we are having a green campus with more than 2000 trees planted in and around the campus and annually we will celebrate all kinds of festivals in our campus such as pongal, Diwali, onam, karthigai deepam, christmas, newyear, aayudha poojai etc. we also have google developer club (GDG), PACE Association, Graphics and gaming clubs. Pec also encourage us in all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports and extra curricular activities

Admission

I have applied for more than 5 colleges in and around my place but i always have a first good impression about PEC fortunately i got seat in this college after that start from the admission process till my placement our college take care of me completely for reaching my milestones.

Faculty

The Faculty to student ratio is maintained and also our relationship relationship with our faculty members are very good and approachable. Dr.W.Thamba Meshach our head of the department of computer science and engineering is very supportive and encouraging towards the students, Mrs.Sripriya and Mrs.Sowmya T R are the best professors so far i know they guided me throughtout my entire college journey

Night Life

In hostel gym facility is available seperately for boys and girls to maintain their well being and lead a healthy life not only that we also have one main canteen for live cooked foods and fresh juices and also another small canteen for snacks and beverages.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

Best experience in college

I applied for the Aalim muhamad Salegh college which is in Avadi. In that college I have got ECE department. And parallely I have searched for the CSE or IT department in other colleges. Then I also got PEC with ECE dept then we approaches the college and we selected the IT department.I didn't got any rejections form other colleges which I have applied. There is eligibility criteria where u must secure above 85% to get CSE or IT dept or any other computer streams. There is no entrance exams.
