I am from tamilnadu and i scored 198.25 cutoff out of 200 in tamil board exam .i chose ECE bacause it is versatile course ie u have lot of option like electronic side, communication side, computer programming side and i chose this college because it is no.1 college in tamilnadu

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is very big that is u come across lot of new subject throughout the curriculum and faculty is very good. Currently we are doing project for satellite as we already part of AUSAT satellite launch team.

Internships Opportunities

Lot of companies are coming for internship like qualcomm, samsung,microsoft, etc. They conduct interview process for giving internship that is very tough.during 3rd year holiday normally internship will given.

There is intracollege festival name AGNI for our college only the intercollege festival name TECHOFOES it is one of south indias biggest cultural event. Lots of celebrity will attend like vijay, dhaush, etc.

Hostel is ok only. Fees will be 40000 per year for hostel. Mess food will very tough to eat.college fees is around 3 to 15 thousand depends on course type self supporting or reguler

Fees reduction will be available for first graduate, SC/ST category. Scholarship also available for all category students

Everything will be available inside campus .girls and boys are in equal ratios.quota of seats will available for other states also.NRI and industrial quota also available.lots of club will be available both technical and non technical.department syposium will be conducted. indutrial visit will be arranged.important point is all be done by students only under the guidance of faculty

Alumni association is available. They are helping poor student, conducting placement program. We teach our junior some subject that they feel tough.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Experience about College Of Engineering Guindy Chennai

The admission process was so simple for both regular and lateral entry students. The must attain certain cutoff to get admission in CEG. The diploma students can join as lateral entries and they too need certain percentage to get admission. Every department has a specific cut off percentage to join in them. The students can join through counciling process. The counciling process will held separately for regular and lateral entry students. The college fees will be reduced uf the student is a first graduate or belongs to sc/st community. Scholarships will be provided for students based on their parents income or through academic performance. The eligibility condition is a minimum cut-off in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in class 12 board exams. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50 percent in those subjects if he belongs to the general category. The minimum percentage is 40 percent for the reserved categories.
