Course Curriculum Overview

4

We have exams every 5 months which is ofcourse very less time to study ???? Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), located in Hyderabad, is a reputed private engineering college affiliated with Osmania University. It offers undergraduate (B.E.) and postgraduate (M.E./M.Tech) programs in various engineering disciplines. The college is known for its academic rigor, industry-aligned curriculum, and emphasis on practical learning.

Placement Experience

4

Muffakham jah college of engineering and technology provides campus placement facility it's highest package was 14 lakh per annum but it don't get packages every year very rarely they get a good package

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 150000 yearly out of which 130000 I get as a government scholarship and rest have to be paid by student which is 20k other that college fees there is minor fees such as common service fees library fees etc which are under 3000

Campus Life

4

Yes campus like is very excellent as different different classes have different different schedules with different faculty other than studies muffakham jah college of engineering and technology host very awesome events and programs on various festivals and events

Admission

When I was persuing my intermediate (12th) I was sitting with my group of friends and we were sorting out the best colleges in the city and we came accross muffakham jah college of engineering and technology as this college offers better studies, it infrastructure is awesome, it provides campus placement facility, the admission process is a very lengthy process after getting allotment order you have to take that allotment order to the college and make your admission card by paying 10k (which is refunded later) then you have to submit your documents for admission finished

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:60 and if we talk about the behaviour of the faculty it depends upon students behaviour if a student is behaving properly in class then the class will run smoothly out of which the best teacher in my college is suhasini ma'am who teaches java she is a diamond teacher and some staff is so rude that they just come to college for scolding students

Interview Experience

4

At Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), the admission process primarily involves entrance examinations and counseling sessions. For undergraduate B.E. programs, candidates are required to qualify in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Admissions are then conducted through the EAMCET counseling process. For postgraduate M.E./M.Tech programs, candidates need to have a relevant bachelor's degree and must qualify in the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) or GATE.

Night Life

3

As my college don't offers hostel facility in the campus it's gates are closed at 6pm but some of my friends live in the nearest hostels and they talk about their hostel Life they say it is pathetic to live in hostels as it provides improper food and contaminated water

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
